QUOTE(yupio @ Jul 24 2013, 05:43 PM) My opinion, noise n sharpness is really bad on that pic, it's just similar to any typical phone cam. wow bro u expect a 1/2.3 inch sensor can perform noise clean like Full Frame? Or sharpness like L lens? Edited : more photos for the sharpness justice » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I just assume Honami gonna be like this quality since it match exactly same spec with the rumors. Only aperture different This post has been edited by jloi: Jul 24 2013, 07:03 PM

@jloi
At least the daytime pics looks much better than any phone camera.
Nobody in their right mind would be comparing phone camera to any FX or any L lens like u mentioned. I am merely comparing it with my ip5 night shots which I thought the noise is much less than this one. Not pixel peeping or anything, just viewing it generally.

Maybe because I am doing long exposure Read somewhere that long exposure did create noise. Anyway it was shot at f8 with few second exposure

jloi Frank speak, I don't find your DC photo got any issue on it, they is no heavy noise or sharpness issue as some one mention here, it is easier spot the photo is snap using DC not phone camera. No way until now phone can give such nice output.
By the way, you cannot use those DC picture to compare with upcoming Honami, I don't think Honami can give such nice night shoot. Even though the spec is similar but it still far different for others aspect.

Anyway just guessing. Gotta wait and see :/

Gotta wait and see :/ I know they is some, those tiny noise is normal, even using DSLR also can spot it, anyway if you want completely clean, those tiny noise can be easier to remove it via simple PP. Lens play important part here, some more I believe they is no Aperture to set, not sure on Shutter Speed. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jul 25 2013, 09:57 AM

The Sony HX50v is f3.5 on 24mm. Oh and those lens element will affect the lens quality too

Well, of course no one here is looking to replace their DSLR with a phone camera right. And yes the fixed aperture and the lens on phone camera Honami will make a bit of a difference to the final image taken even though sensor is the same. But, having said these, I am sure it will still be one of the top phone camera to date. Still, I will be more keen on XZU coz my priorities are not in the camera, I prefer larger screen size. Cameras on phone are more like taking the pic on work related matter or taking the pic to share with a buddy to better explain what I am referring to (picture speaks thousand words). It's more of a practical application rather than for photography. So, so long as PQ is adequate, I have no complaints. Of course, this is my personal opinion, different ppl has different expectations rite.
