Hi,

My tip is that you go through what Baker Hughes project/operations are at the moment. Also, do brush up on technical knowledge and make sure that you read up on the specific skill set that they are looking for. If I'm not mistaken.. round 1 (1st interview would usually be a technical assessment).

What function are you entering?

Cheers,
Juvy

Hello.. I'm pretty sure that you guys have had  this question asked many times but I would really appreciate a feedback.. I'm a female mechanical engineering final year student and will be finishing in June. My CGPA is just over 3.0. I have been interested in oil and gas industry for the longest time. Just want to know what are my chances of getting into OnG industry? Do I start applying now? Which companies accept fresh graduates? I don't mind being based anywhere in Malaysia.
*
3.0 is good enough. chances will always be there, its how persistent you are when it comes to applying. are you a Degree or Diploma holder? Yes start applying now. I applied back in December 2013 and currently waiting for Baker Hughes to confirm with me whether im in the final stage of interview or not, im graduating this November. Apply as much as you can.there are alot of companies, you can try the big players like Schlumberger, Haliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Shell, Petronas, exxon etc. Apply for small companies too. biggrin.gif
