we got enuff youth in attacking department already, is either sign the best to replace the existing eleven or buy none and develop the youth.

SUAREZ ? HELL NO !! no matter how good is he as a player, he is not worth the trouble, he will only put the club and the team in shame. All his previous antic on the field show he is unprofessional and selfish, putting his personal glory/satisfaction/ego above the team. He said the reason he wanted to move is because of the english press, but if he move to another english club, then u know what kind of bullshit is he talking about.

QUOTE(yinchet @ Jul 8 2013, 04:19 PM) Seem like cavini going to psg Imo, we do not need to buy forward. Ba, lukaku and torres our fw look solid. Schurrle able to plat well in that areas too. Hope to see a dm or cb signing. Btw we dun seem to have enough home grown players to fill the quota? QUOTE(syazwan @ Jul 8 2013, 04:51 PM) For UCL is 8 homegrown with 4 are club grown, we only have TERRY for our senior level club grown, to my surprise BERTRAND is just homegrown not club grown due to many loan move, LUKAKU can be our club grown because we sign him very young but if he leave for loan again then maybe not.We are still ok at the moment as 22 senior will do just fine and we can fill the 3 spot with youth, but considering TERRY, LAMPARD and COLE age, we will soon have to buy someone or hope that those player on loan like JOSH will be able to break thru. |

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Jul 11 2013, 12:27 PM) between mikel and essien? i will chose mikel in a heartbeat. we going to see a lot of ESSIEN rather than MIKEL, because he is one of JM favourite utility man, he is getting a lot game time even during on loan at RM as right back.reason? i am not a risk taker especially in the case of the injury-prone essien. although mikel is ultra-defensive, i think he still got some strategic usage. might be good to have him at the bench (or for rotation) rather than someone at the treatment table. QUOTE(dynames07 @ Jul 11 2013, 04:09 PM) i think that is on completely different perspective. i am seeing essien as a competitor for the DM place while your justification is based on him playing as utility player. but still, will he play if he is injured? i am not underlying his ability to play well. my opinion is purely on my tendency not to take risk in keeping an injury-prone player at the expense of a reliable (and not a favourite) player. Ya i know ESSIEN age is there, but my perspective is not just he is JM fav and being utility player is a bonus for any team. Injury is a "IF" question, ROBBEN are known by us as injury prone but he is ECL champion now, same can be say as RvP. Even is a 433 with anchorman, i dont see the current MIKEL gonna start solely because of his low work rate. JM players have always been hardworking especially in the midfield. Even the past JM 433, the DM deploy is a ball winner type, which MIKEL is totally not the same mould to MAKELELE or ESSIEN. still, i would be really glad if both of them stayed as they provide depth for the team. The DM order i see at the moment is RAM > ESSIEN > MIKEL > ROMEU. But i believe workrate can be easily improve, a high work rate MIKEL will be first in my order because defensive he is solid and his height help in set pieces. Some complain he is not creative, but is just fantasy football to be able to field all attacking player, the team need balance, a 4231 with a trident amigos + striker + CM + 2 support full back that is more than enough firepower already. There is 2 starter player i have doubt that whether they will fit with JM plan, MIKEL (low workrate) and TORRES (not the all rounder striker type) but i believe TORRES definitely will get his chance at the start of the season, but as a poacher, if he dont score enough goal he will be give way to target man like BA or LUKAKU that contribute to more team play even they are not scoring. QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Jul 11 2013, 08:12 PM) 11m can consider a bargain for player at his peak, a lot of club want to prise him away all without success, part of the reason is player himself dont want to leave ROMA This post has been edited by chitchat: Jul 11 2013, 08:40 PM |

The only thing i like about ROONEY is his workrate, i think JM feel the same too. But seeing we already got so many ppl fighting for spot, i not really fancy a big money diva/spoil brat coming, unless the price is at a reasonable 25m region.
I am already very happy with the player we have, all are very hungry to prove themself, because it seem no one is guarantee a starter, even CECH have a very experience BPL keeper challenging him, only maybe A.COLE looking a bit more comfortable with BERTRAND. |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Jul 19 2013, 04:29 PM) HIGUIAN ? highly unlikely, his relation with JM at RM was so so only, and JM play BENZEMA over him most of the time. Just another rumour made up i guess.Of all the striker we are link, i actually think FALCAO is the best option, he is the striker that will stay inside the box and good at it, we do not need another striker that can play wide, we have plenty cover for that already. HIGUAIN was ok but like i mention above, unlikely it will happen. The problem i see last season is that, against a parking bus team, when TORRES or BA was ineffective inside the box or drift wide, nobody go in and fill the box, we need more player doing smart run inside the box. MAZACAR definitely not the type that is comfortable go in the box, they prefer staying outside and getting the ball. A ROONEY playing the trident role (not striker) will help i guess, he got the striker instinct to do smart run to attack the box. I think SCHURRLE might has it too since he can play as striker. Seeing all the available striker have been taken, i am pretty happy with TORRES, BA and LUKAKU. I say let start the season with the squad we have, give everybody a chance to prove themselves, then maybe by january, JM will know who is in his plan and who is not. |

Ya i can see most probably the 1min break is by JM request, as we totally play 2 different set of player at each half, so the 1min break allow JM to convey msg to the set of team at each of the half and ask them to improve on the aspect he want to see.

QUOTE(HumbleCMY @ Jul 25 2013, 02:50 PM) Hazard didnt impress in last year pre-season also. The problem i see with MOSES is that, his direct style of taking on the defender and cutting in the box is good, but the end product is not there, after all the hardwork he have done on the defender, he final pass always end up with nothing. A bit like RAMIRES i guess, like a bull charging pass everything but unable to find the teammate properly at the end but maybe RAMIRES was slightly better i guess, he bull charging often ended up in goal chance or shot on goal but if is a required pass to teammate at end of run, most probably u will see him lose the ball.I think Schurlle's the type who needs to play a few matches consistently for fans to see how good he is. Same like Victor Moses. Consistent performer but not very flashy or game changing like Mata, Hazard. |

QUOTE(monoikhwan @ Jul 25 2013, 11:34 PM) not yet i guess, we still need to see how TORRES perform in our coming frenly, but to me LUKAKU have climb above BA in starting order and definitely good enuff to start as CHELSEA main striker. |

QUOTE(pcm123 @ Jul 26 2013, 12:51 AM) Is a 8 europe team frenly, make like tournament, KO format, at USA. We will be playing INTER. Should be able to test how good was our team, since we are playing equally strong europe team with roughly same fitness level. |
