nope.. (well, at first, yes) but flipboard does a good job for news and readings.. and i like the face impression of my ifag officemates when they check on my HO.  brows.gif  looks like "oh my, my iphone looks like a duster compare to this" but they just keep silence...  tongue.gif

Just test out Next launcher. Feels quite heavy at first but later on very smooth.
I'm quite used to Sense. It'll take a while to get used to other launchers.

With regards to your colleagues, you must be really proud inside when you see their face like that flex.gif

In my defense im working on a project involving NFC enabled smartphone. Using my own device is easier since I have it all the time and the project have been stalled for quite some time. happy.gif
*
What kind of project man?
Sounds interesting. NFC really has a lot of potential and tremendous room for growth. thumbup.gif

i actually like blink feed  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
*
It's very similar to flipboard.
But for blinkfeed you cannot customize if the feed that you want is not there right?
Is there any way we can manually add feed? hmm.gif

What do you like about blinkfeed? shocking.gif

okay, what if i lost my receipt ? so cant claim the warranty ? so old-school
*
It used to be register online. When claim warranty, just show IC.
Now i think they want to change the warranty service process. Got Brightstar, SiS.
Got HTC Careline. That's why it is a big mess now.

As long there is no any other way to establish your phone warranty without using receipt,
i do think that you will have problems if you lost your receipt.

Before you lose it, try to scan it and send it to your email or something. Probably they thought many people forgot (or don't know) how to do online warranty registration.  hmm.gif
*
There is an online registration. But then we heard from those who claim warranty,
actually it does not mean anything. So thats why for the later adopters
we did not tell them about online warranty registration. That info no longer relevant. sweat.gif

3 weeks. Damn that's pretty long lol. Here's praying that I won't have to wait that long. Mine is a black dead pixel, it's super obvious with Sense 5. I doubt I can find it that easily using stock JB. Too bad no stocks back then. Tough luck for both of us I guess. I've been making the calls since Monday, so far 4 working days. Thanks for your advice on constant pressuring them for updates.

Anyways I'm still wondering if there's any soul here who still keep Blink Feed as their home screen. Lol. IMO it's a really neat alternative to Flipboard, although not very customizable.
*
It is still one of the panels. I don't think can remove unless you root the phone.
It's no longer my home screen. My home screen consist of toggle widgets for wifi,3G, profile and settings.

I've checked the phone over at HTC KLCC outlet and it costs around RM2500. Kinda costly don't you guys think?
*
Should be RM2499 for 64gb. But we heard from a fellow user before they overcharged. vmad.gif

But the price is superbly different between the ones that is in the retail shop and the ones that is selling off Lowyat? (SevenMobile)

I'm kinda over the fence about where to buy the phone from.=.=

As long as the one that you get got brightstar or SiS sticker, it should be fine. thumbup.gif

I seem to have some problems in saving new contacts. My contacts (about 800 total) were transfered/imported to the phone by using the htc software from pc. The problem is, whenever i enter and saved a new contacts directly on the phone, the contact is not saved in the phone contacts (where my 800 contacts are stored), instead it is stored Exchange Activesync contacts. How do i change the default save location to phone contacts?
*
When you select which account to save, you choose phone. But when you check back, all the contacts that
you saved in your phone become Exchange Activesync contacts instead?

So HTC One Google Play Edition is priced at 600 dollars.
And here's a nice review: http://blogs.computerworld.com/android/223...e-play-editions

I guess we are going to hear a more thorough review after this.
I read from the verve, they claimed that HTC One GPE battery last
1 hour longer than the HTC One on their battery test. shocking.gif

How do you guys feel about the power button positioning and design. With and without case?
*
It feels weird at first since power button on top.
But after a while you get used to it.
With and without case it's still easy to press.
Hope that helps. thumbup.gif
