QUOTE(lordofvirtue @ Jun 26 2013, 05:46 PM) Lol...man. I wish I frequent those areas. Pretty hard to find time to travel all the way to KL just for this. Just called the call centre today, said that the assessment takes between 7-14 working days. Today is the 6th day. I guess I'll take Kurogane's advice and pressure them everyday. They said they'll call me today but they didn't. Today they said they'll call me tommorow or Friday, but guess I'll just have to initiate myself. Hopefully yours is perfect or almost perfect by now bro! You will have to call them yourself every day. They won't bother calling you most of the time. I kena like RM 10 in bills just from calling their line every day to make sure they don't slack. QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 26 2013, 06:01 PM) Is stupid n ridiculous that HTC needs 7-14 days to assess the quality issue. These guys going to send back to Taiwan HQ for these? Either they have a lot of claim cases n any new submit need to queue for checking there is just no logical reason. Even gap issue need 7 days !!! Yeah, pretty much. In my case the dead pixel was damn hard to spot though.... only shows up on pure black/dark colors... So best way is still check thoroughly phone at point of purchase before taking it home. QUOTE(beastwars @ Jun 26 2013, 06:24 PM) been reading alot of cases regarding getting the phone back from the service center, so im wondering who here has their phone back with the quickest and slowest period of time ? It took them 14 working days for mine, counting from the day I sent in to the day I receive it back. So almost 3 weeks real-time. |

Either they have a lot of claim cases n any new submit need to queue for checking there is just no logical reason. Even gap issue need 7 days !!! It's pretty sad that here in Melaka this phone is waayyyy under appreciated. Most people doesn't even know it exists. Hence the awful stock availability. I noticed my problem the moment I turned it on. Too bad there's no replacement unit there when I bought it. FYI Celcom only has one silver at my time of purchase, in all of Malaysia. Guess Samsung has already cemented their presence here, making other Android manufacturers, even HTC, seems alien to the masses. Personally I think it doesn't take more than 30 secs to notice my dead pixel issue. I even set a bright blank white wallpaper for them to immediately notice it. Pretty disappointed right now.So best way is still check thoroughly phone at point of purchase before taking it home. |

QUOTE(Wan.Him @ Jun 26 2013, 03:02 AM) hehe agreed on the price, you should give me extra discount For the FB thingy, btw, do everybody know how to disable facebook feed photos in gallery ? Go to settings --> apps --> Click Facebook Then, disable Check back at your gallery, the FB image should no longer be there. After that, enable the FB app back. That should do it. |

Not dirty at all, so far no scratch. Thanks for the advice. Black is more stealthy in an understated way, It does not scream like the Silver |

QUOTE(jhchong @ Jun 26 2013, 07:02 PM) just came back from sen q. There's one thing that you should check too: auto focus. Hopefully yours won't suffer from auto focus issue. Hmm a tip that I would highly suggest would be purchasing Swiftkey 4. It's still on sale now. It's your first time with an Android smartphone right? IMHO it's the best keyboard out there! got the 32gb black. i have used iphone 3gs for 4 years now, and decide to give HTC a try despite many qc problems.
