another not-so-wise move from HTC.

they should learn from samsung.. treat their flagship seriously..

will the battery life be better or vice versa...

So 2013 flagship should be prioritised for 2012 flagship? Both are flagships, both are coming at around the same time, what's the problem then? I rather HTC take extra time to make everything good rather than go the Samsung rute and just hantam all their messy code into their ROM.

since when butterfly become flagship? please understand about what flagship product really meant before you bashing me.

It's still a very decent phone, and it was released last year. What's wrong with releasing the updated software for their other phones first? It doesn't affect you at all, and they are coming out at roughly the same time.

to be fair HTC One actually got 4.2.2 first at Europe (not sure of butterfly).
and alot source pointing One will get 4.2.2 this week (malaysia and SG). So what's the point arguing?

it's hard to express personal opinion if this forum is full of die hard fans.

So what would be best for you? Since you look like you want only the latest phones to get the update. HTC is a small company compared to Samsung and Apple, they have limited programming resources. If you want to focus on releasing 4.2.2 for HTC One, then when are the One X, One X+ and Butterfly going to get updated? 4.3 is being tested now, so their programming team will be focused there. So 4.3 for HTC One, and don't have time to update their previous devices.

You have to do it in stages, or break the work apart so that updates might seem like they are late, but it's coming for multiple devices at a time. It's only been a few weeks delayed. Up till now Samsung's 4.2.2 ROM is still buggy as hell despite releasing the same time as HTC.

If less than two weeks, can get replacement. I think for your case they will fix the display.
