guys, any way to waive rhb visa smart value annual fee? I thought it was FOC so I just left this card untouch for months. Until recently I received sms about delayed cc payment. Then when I checked online, it was overdue becos of annual fee charges. DAMN!

I think the vi is only for their premier banking customers....and the terms for ppl entry has changed.... unlimited if spend over a certain amount a year, otherwise limit 10 entries a year....

However the ppl list is limited, local and Changi, HK tpe, LHR only....

Ambank WMC only up to 5 use per year unless premier.
I'm looking at non-premier. The RHB VI is normal but also provide unlimited entry, as far as I can tell in the TnC.

All the banks disqualify Bigpay (MCC6012) for the promo as they consider MCC6012 is a quasi-cash scheme (MCC6*** group). Except Public Bank.

But you can get normal online rebate for Bigpay top-up (for VS, Smart Value).

Boost (MCC 5968) top up is not an online transaction, so normal cashback at 0.2%. RHB allows this category for the CC promo (not sure for RHB Debit card promo). But Public Bank disqualify it because it is under Direct Marketing.

Bigpay and Boost are different.

Yes because Boost topup is under Direct Marketing which is not in the exclusion list.  But Bigpay is quasi-cash so it is excluded.

BP's MCC was revised in early Dec 2018.

I received RM30CB C/B A 8998 WK 7 in this month but very confusing. My last CB is week 16.

I am expecting CB from week 18 (3rd phase) onwards but none so far.
