What is the benefit of rhb signature? Applied tru direct sales and told that I will be getting platinum only. Got my card yesterday and turn out to be signature pulak..also I'm surprise that I can even qualify for this card. Weird rhb

Nice, how long it takes from the card application date to the delivery?

The features of RHB signature can be found at post #3

I hold more than 10 CCs and still get approved  cool2.gif  cool2.gif  cool2.gif No worries.
RHB Card doesn't charge their GST as soon as the card is approved (so it seems)

RHB did a courtesy call 3 days after I've received the card.... strange but good service.
My delivery package mentioned "EXTREMELY URGENT DELIVERY"  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks of my application. Still in process when I call them yesterday. Requested to put it on urgent too. I got a more-than-RM100-swipe-to-eligible-for-the-promo transaction this weekend biggrin.gif

I've also called RHB to confirm my card application can participate in their 6-month 0% Finance Charges (need topay the minimum 5% each month)
This is similar like CIMB BT 6-month 0% program w/o the waiting time of BT processing smile.gif
*
So just pay the min 5% for the 6 months and at the end of the period, pay all lump sum = 0 penalty?

Yeah, can be a trap. Just keep the $ roll in 1 month eFD nod.gif

Programme is open to all eligible Cardmembers (Principal card only) with Cards approved from
15 May 2013 until 17 August 2013, both dates inclusive (“the Programme Period”).

I cancel out this section in my application form. Maybe I will need to write in to get a black and white confirmation.

7. The Cardmember must indicate at the RHB Generic Credit Card Application Form to opt for either one only of the following programmes:-
(i) 0% Balance Transfer for 6 months Programme OR
(ii) 0% Finance Charges on retail transactions for 6 months Programme

Also, clause 10 seems vague:
10. This Programme is not applicable in conjunction with any RHB’s ongoing promotions unless otherwise stated.

Need to check whether transactions are under the 5% cash back promo catogery is it still eligible or not.

My concern is on bill payment. I will make a small payment to TNB to check its eligibility. If my card is approved that is, they are too slow!

The list looks extensive. Hope it allows payment using CC. Some of the merchants can only be paid from CASA if using CIMB.

Did you receive any call from RHB officer to verify your particulars before your successful application?

Alright.

Strange. I contacted CS and apparently the news I received from the branch officer last week that my application is successful is false doh.gif My status is still pending and will be receiving a final call this week for last stage of processing.
