Ayam on 165/60R14 special donut for Shawie. For a ranjiao Goodyer will cost me RM180, even Cibaistones will cost RM160. In the end, I settled with Caina HiFly for RM125/pc. Have not experience with 205/55R15 cost it sure will sagat crazy on my GaGa. Surprisingly quiet tyre, so far great in wet traction. Dry... a little understeer compare to SimeAstar 100(could be the width though, previously I was with 185/60R14). However, funny part was despite having a smaller profile tyre, by right FC should improve, but I get the opposite. My Shawie FC has been drastically dropped from 6litre/100km up to current 7.3litre/100km

Ayam waiting opportunity to swap my back tyres out and get another pair of HiFly in to see the real deal. Wait for it.
On the other hand, HiFly tyre is NOT hard tread, so I will see how far can this tyre last before I start to recommend. Even if it's cheap, if the tread couldn't last more than 20k km, no point also. Might as well go back Cibaistone. Rather risk on wet traction or I can drive slower on wet roads.
If there's any progressive spring with higher tension coil at the bottom, whist have lower tension coil at the top. Yes you get all sort of wobble feeling on straight road. Ultra comfort ride without sagat. You'll also get extremely high G lateral cornering speed. However, bodyroll like mad at the initial stage of the cornering as the vehicle weight being compressed on the lower tension coils.
FYI, GaGa got more than 1 sagat issue. Few things you need to bear in mind, the brake caliper is extended out, whereas the brake hub is slotted inwards. So, choosing a correct negative offset rim is super important!!! However, most aftermarket rim with negative offset, the wheel edge is OFF mudguard, hence we sagat like crazy when going over uneven terrain. To remove sagat, either grind off your fender, sleeve it and put a bigger offset fender cover. OR, use lower profile tyres. OR, get a set of taxi spring to jack up the car

If want lowering + soft + good cornering + comfort higher profile tyre without sagat.... you need to change car

Ya I agree badyear tyres too ex.... when I was in the market for a new set of donuts to replace me M3s, the badyear were the most ex, next to contis, falken was middle priced, below was the Sime tayar....
I have heard of china Sonar tyres.... quite cheap, me thinks cheaper than Sime tyre, my brother uses it.... he says quiet tyre ....
taxi spring how much ah? but if you change taxi spring, you have to change bearings as well correct? this one taxi uncle tell me...
