michelin tires in msia overpriced like f*** because everyone so hype about it: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2862994

to me, Michelin is forever banned, not worth my money when there are so MANY cheaper alternatives that most likely can perform much better with some specific cons (eg: lower tread wear)

that said, my c drive 2 over 40k km and over 1 year, treads just few mm from TWI but then again i drive like an idiot anyways sweat.gif

Mayb visit u for lamda primer... biggrin.gif

personally recommend 20-30k km for normal driving, less if you want cleanter throttle body/intake for more performance.

or when you want to go track/dyno/butt itchy just straight away do once rolleyes.gif

Proton selling the K&N drop-in for CPS RM400++  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

I got a quote from both Speedworks and Kaitospeed for the Fiesta....the price difference quite huge. Kaitospeed say they got their stock directly from the US for online selling only, based in JB I think.

Dunno which one to trust.
*
wafak 400? my big sized ufo only 300+ RRP while most drop ins are 200+ (even for honda civics and the likes due to much smaller size)

kaitospeed should be ok kot, he is basically cockblocking local distro speedworks for monopolizing tongue.gif

Not sh!tting you, go to the COSE sales gallery where there is a R3 showcase at a corner there, you can see the R3 parts on display, one of the is a K&N filter rclxub.gif

Wokeh thanks for the info re the kaitospeed  wub.gif My concern was that speedworks accuse them of selling imitation  unsure.gif
*
lol wtf weih if really drop in, you sure those aren't open pod/apollo mods? lol

and yeah if you still unsure, best way is to drop a mail to K&N directly wink.gif

*
if you're waxing a saga, not off topic at all!

TW (ICE is a bit overpriced imho though, but it still works) cheapo lines works, then theres mothers/duragloss/Sonax (the wheel cleaner is LEGENDARY), slightly higher would be meguiar's (get from LYN SupremeCareForYou ), if you wanna go further, there's dodojuice

bro need advice on recovering my black saga flx..damn so many small swirl marks..and bird shit spot..plus my rear bumper colour fading a bit..i saw from far looks different than body colour..i jemur my car whole day..during daylight mesti kena direct sunlight punya..and night sure kena embun..any advice for me? i usually wash at road side car wash..but no choices cos am traveling between terengganu and kelantan..while in kelantan so many road side car wash use brush for body..damn it..now the calar really obvious one lah..but when at home i wash by my self using sponge and microfiber cloths..
fyi my car now ady 1 year ngam2..now need a bit information about claying ...me ady bought 3m clay from some forum-er here..
*
always have a quick detailer at the parking garage/front porch or even better, inside your car! see any tar/bird shit etc, use QD products and remove them before they etch even deeper in your clear coat.

oh and my car's 24/7 out in the sun too biggrin.gif
no prob with that so long you do proper maintenance

road side car wash a? that's a one way ticket straight to f***ing your car up laugh.gif

btw if the car is well maintained, you *CAN* go through 2-3weeks without any wash at all (of course bird droppings etc need to QD them off)

so, what advise specifically do you need?

sorry bro..QD is quick detailer right? haiiyoo..i think i need to learn it my self..hard to find detailer here..need advice on recover the paint and maintain it...maybe noobies advice first..haha
*
yes quick detailer.
no need find detailer, self DIY, more fun whistling.gif

follow meguiar's 5 step:
1) wash (typically 2 bucket system, with grit guard if possible)
2) clean/prepare (claying, IPA wipe downs etc)
3) polish (polishing/compounding, that's where you restore paint, remove scratches/swirls)
4) protect (LSP, last step protection, your wax/sealant/coating etc)
5) maintain (weekly wash if possible, QD bird dropping/tree sap/tar marks etc)

look up youtube videos on those specific steps, or just join the LYN detailing thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2717191

where to get IPA ? ? I have Permanon coating on my car but sometimes those water marks just stays there. . some IPA will be good to remove them. . .
*
ipa may or may not remove water marks. it's best to do a thorough wash, then clay the car. if severe watermarks, no choice but to polish them off sad.gif
