Hi Bro... notworthy.gif
Campro 1.3L has compression ratio of 10:1  tongue.gif

Probly dat's why by using RON 97 or a mix of 95/97 gives a smoother (?) & quieter (?) engine...?  whistling.gif

So if Govt changes 95 to 91, a similar mix wld help our stock Campro...?  hmm.gif

ps. Since 97 price drop, me hv started mix of roughly 3 parts 95 with 1 part 97...
Any Bro has tried similar mixes?
Pls share...TQ!!  notworthy.gif
*
The compression ratio is only half the story. The Mazda Skyactiv engine runs on 13:1 but still drink RON95. There are other factors as well as to how low a RON the engine can tolerate nod.gif

Tks a meg, Bro...  notworthy.gif

Feel me need 2read up more 2replace/update those ole skool theories in this ole RAM pack...  sweat.gif
ATM all me kno is that the ignition timing has 2b changed 2prevent the pre-ignition detonation of the compressed lower octane fuel mix...
Me was told that when 97 became premium fuel & 95 replaced it...and my ole gen saga need min 97 2run w/o knocking... tongue.gif
*
You are not wrong in any counts, actually. Compression ratio is still a major factor and a very important guide as to what fuel to use. But technology has advanced in a way that it is possible to build high compression engines that uses low RON petrol and are more efficient icon_rolleyes.gif

Not abt the headrest, if i sit straight my sholuder cannot rest at ur cushion. As i prefer my shoulder sticking at the cushion. Ox
*
If you didn't lift up the headrest (Like on the left seat of the pic I posted), the headrest will be lower than your neck (Like on the right side)....then of coz you cant put your shoulder on the backrest rclxub.gif

gah next TT let you test again laugh.gif

May I molest PoPi next time? Will take the usual heat at Kesas + MRR2 stretch until Tasik Selatan and back to Sri Petaling? Ayam really curious about your complains between CBT and your current double clutch
*
The complaints are when driving at low speed (traffic jam) and climbing hills, other than that it's just like a 4AT.....except with 6 gears lor. Even downshift also slow like 4AT doh.gif

Hahaha..... I understand that. There was once I was parking a VW Jetta and the gearbox goes up to 2nd gear when I am moving at 5kph. It makes the throttle lags so badly due to the gearing. Lol.
*
Wah not bad until 2nd gear at 5kph la. No wonder VW cars judder so badly when accelerating at low speed. hmm.gif You help Ah Hock park cars issit lololol

For the popiah, in traffic jam, don't do that "press abit of throttle->lift off->quickly press again" in D gear, because when you liftoff it will upshift to 2nd gear then when you press again the clutch will slip, then suddenly downshift back to first gear and jerk.

After updated TCM better liao, it holds first gear longer at low speed, but sometimes it goes back to "stupid" mode. So during really bad jams I just activate Sport/overdrive off/hill grade assist mode to keep the idiotbox from upshifting too soon.

For that reason I seldom let other ppl drive my car, because when driving slow have to be careful with the throttle. Gorillalew kena sound by me last nite also whistling.gif

Actually hor I drive manlet's car quite solid and comfortable, soundproofing quite good. Maybe he got a good unit, else I don't understand what are the complaints about. Maybe pickup a bit sluggish, but overall performance quite OK.

For a RM73k C-sedan, I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe need to own it to start complaining laugh.gif
