I haven't beaten all the weapons in FF7 yet, sheesh...

Final Fantasy Spirit Within FTW!

i voted ffiv, cecil is awesome, changed from dark knight to a paladin freakin badass hero

Let's see.

Currently playing FFIII on NDS. Forgot what it's about, so kinda boring.

Skipped it for FFIV(NDS) for Cecil awesomeness(Final Fantasy character speaks, OMG!!11)

I think I've tried FFV with the job system but didn't like it.

FFVI was awesome. Crazy Kefka, poor Terra, badass Ninja and emo story. The world was destroyed like 4 times or something.

FFVII, Cloud is cool but he's too emo, loved Aerith, Tifa kick ass(boobs too big), others suck. Sephiroth is cool but too emo as well.

FFVIII, Squall was lame, Rinoa was cute but stupid name(Rhino). That girl with short skirt is lame. Sniper lame, Muay Thai boy lame. Overall, quite lame.

FFIX, Monkey boy was too immature but Princess Garnet is f***ing cute. Story kinda weird as well.

FFX, best FF love story ever. More Yuna pls. Others lame. Tidus is lame.

FFX-II, overall lame story, Yuna is sexy but sucks. More like money machine FF.

FFXI, blasphemy!!111 MMORPG? Not a FF.

FFXII, dunno, haven't played. Girl kinda cute, hate the Gay Pirate. Probably lame.

FFXIII, girl too tomboyish, not good. Better gameplay?

FF Tactics, best FFTactics, I think.

FF Tactics Advance, Not so good, lame job system. So few jobs and not much progress thr. Stopped playing.

The topic starter forgot the best FF of all time, FF Mystic Quest!111 LOL, just kidding. Worst FF ever.

If u ask me,
best story is FFVI(You will think you almost win the game like 4 times).
most fun, FFVII(with the sex jokes).
lamest FF, FFVIII and FF Mystic Quest(hate the characters and gameplay)

I still think the best Final Fantasy till today is FF6. Those who played FF7 and FF6 will say FF6 is better. If u think FF7 is the best, then u should play FF6. FF7 is basically the ATM machine. FF6 is the Mona Lisa.

I don't think anyone who has played FF6 and FF7 can say that FF6 is not as good as FF7. Most people started playing from FF7 since it's the 1st PS FF.

Right, different ppl different taste. Anyway, FFVII still the best, FFVI story also good, but i like FFVII's story more than FFVI's story.

My vote goes FFXIII. Hell... i love monster hunting.

FFVII
- mainly because its the most popular. advent children, crisis core, dirge of ceberus and rumoured FFVII remake for the ps3.

Though personally i'd prefer they remake FFVI for the ps3. That would be awesome!

Yeah,haha!that's me. I played FF6 then later on FF7.. etc etc..so my conclusion is, FF7 story is much more better and interesting than FF6,well,sorry to say that for those FF6 fans ^^...between FF4 and FF6, FF4 is much more better and like others people opinion, i hope they remake the FF4 story in more advance and upgrade in graphic ~

Didn't play every FF game.

FF1 - Playing this on the PSP, I can see why it instantly became an overnight classic a few decades ago. All hail Hironobu Sagakuchi!

FF7 - Many said it is deemed the best damn RPG ever created, I would like to think so too but it isn't IMO. Materia gameplay was a big change definitely, the story in FF7 was epic in its own ways and the overall game design is intriguing. But because of the fact that amount of "sequels" its getting, FF7 has dropped into the bandwagon of money sucker machine.

FF8 - Most underated FF IMO. Out of 10 FF fans, only 5 will like it. I have no idea why, but I think FF8 is absolutely legendary. It has one of the best OSTs ever in a game, the characters are nicely done eventhough they are lacking if compared to FF7's crew. Yes the villains like Seifer and Ultimacia absolutely doesn't compare to Sephiroth at all and thats about the only bad thing about it. The romancing story in FF8 is deeper and has much more feeling than FF7.

FF9 - A return to the classic, has absolutely the best soundtrack among every FF game. Again its very underated as the majority seems to have been brain-washed by FF7. Story is absolutely awesome in its own rights, lots of twists and turns and theres no over the top technologies here(yea I know flying ships and all but....).

FFX - Arguably my favourite, eventhough it isn't as adventurous as FF9. The game has the best love angle and plot outline in any FF game yet IMO. Gameplay is absolutely good, even if the blitzball minigame was an after-thought.

FFX-2 - Not really dissapointing as many would say, it sure isn't FF material but hey its still hell alot better than some of the most disastrous RPGs out there.

FFXII - IMO the most dissapointing FF game for me. I know the Ivalice "world" is deemed the "Star Wars of Final Fantasy". But it just copies too much, and for one I am not a Star Wars fan to begin with. Very boring story, too much dragging and way too many sidequests. Atleast the gameplay makes up for it.

For now probably the best one is Dissida Final Fantasy for the psp

i know , i spend a portion of my life in that game , so i take heart ppl condemn that game without even playing it, condemn it if u hv tried it and dont like it its fine. but to say its blashemy eh come on la . dont la like that.

Exactly. FF11 atleast wasn't filled with the amount of total jackasses in WoW, and especially if you play with Jap players you'll feel so exactly right at home.

WoW reaches out to more ppl then ffxi , thats why u get more varieties of ppl in wow , i played wow too , both game has pros and con and i love both of em.

we are getting out of topic a bit, i like ffxii so there i said it /run away.

FF7 no doubt in my mind.

First Final Fantasy for me. The story was really intriguing and most of the other chars really do tell the story better. Chocobos made hunger for KFC for some reason, Hot and Spicy pls. Best turn of events ever! The love interest gets killed by the arch enemy scene stunned me to my seat, never knew that i would see such a sad scene on a psOne game. i was Heartbroken. Plus the game holds one of the top 5 badass game villian, Sephiroth and his Long Murasame Blade.

well almsot every mmorpg have those type of players though i do know jap players are really helpful...
there are those in wow and warhammer who drop me heals/ buffs as they see me...

lets wait for the new ff11 to be out...
