FFIX is the best and I dare any of you to prove otherwise! I had the most fun playing IX than any of the other Final Fantasies.

my fav would be FF9, but if there is a remake for FF7, with better graphics i would choose FF7..

FF series in PS1 pawn every FF series in PS2....not sure about the upcoming PS3 ones though...

FF7 is the only FF series that i have repeat playing more than 4th times. Yes, this is the best FF series for me.

true..in term of gamplay. i felt it was better in psx then ps2.

i kinda disagree...
i totally loved ffx-international...
the plot is original, voice acting, great graphics, sphere grid and really good side quest (international version)...
its the only FF i spent 160+ hours maxing all my stats (sphere grid +1,+2,+3 destroyed and replaced with +4) and beat the game 100% including penance...

of all the ff, i think ff9 has the worse fanbase of all cause of the cartoony feel but overall i still love it more than x-2...

those who nvr tried ff6 should really give it a shot...

i started at ff8.. the gameplay is so addictive.. then tried ff7.. ff4 and the rest is history
lol... ffx got great graphic... but when you break the 9999 barier, and can do 99999 damage, the game start to feel too ez and boring... and its ez too unlock the secret items.
i like ff8, the stronger your char. the enemy also will be stronger. so in term of gameplay. most ff on psx is alot fun. especially ff7. that my opinion

wei... where is Final Fantasy Tactics haaa?

cause urs is not international version...
the dark aeons (dark anima and dark magus sisters) in international version can 1 hit KO my pt ever with max stats on them...
took me several hours to kill penance (hardest boss) even with max stats...
all of those bosses have max stats as well and u its hard to hit a normal atk at it...
by far its the hardest FF i've played and thus i'm loving it...
though after maxing all the stats, my yuna jz 1 hit the final boss with normal atk XD

You didn't abuse Yojimbo

actually i did XD...
1 shot penance after paying him 3M but i load back and beat him the non-yojimbo way (except yojimbo eating a hit from penance to safe the pt XD)
still remember all those yojimbo guides in gamefaq where u have to make him 'like' you LOL!

u din play FFX international, so u missed Dark Aeons + Penance

as for me, only at penance i abuse Yojimbo (just pay him 10K gil, then he does the final strike...4got what name, Zanpakutou?)

too bad they didn't let you use Yojimbo in FF12. if they did, that game would be more fun because i would spam Yojimbo like mad every chance i get.

Must friend friend with Yojimbo. I remember spending a couple hundreds to make him execute the 1 hit KO move.

Can't wait for FFV and FFVI remakes Hopefully they'd be done after the Dragon Quests.

i dun think u need gameshark for ffx...
if u didnt do side quests, its pretty easy to finish the game...
sidequest wise, using cheat kills the feeling...

vii of course. viii also.

i had all GIF/anima
no need side wuest to collect all of them..
