from your sentence i assume you register a new account for beta. If you're dead set on having/wanting US edition, just create a new account with SE selecting NA. I do advise to remain having EU account and thus buying the EU version and future EU expansions. It's really a hassel using NA account because NA online store is being an ass with street address when concern with using credit card purchases. I myself is debating whether I'll just throw away my 9yr NA account, and just buy the CE EU version and start fresh.
