one thing to note bout the duty finder. When one of your member DC during dungeon, you can't kick him.. That add member feature, is only available when someone click "leave" in the duty finder......... well, it's beta, finally something to submit on the feedback list.

Seriously, I only had 2 incident on duty finder during this test which trouble me. one is the member being DCed while in dungeon and can't have ways for replacement. and CNJ!!! omg.. I never thought I'll meet gimp CNJ.. I was tank in totorak, the CNJ cant even give me a heal of 100.. how gimp is that, wipe 3 times at final boss.. 4th time I also eat dirt, lucky the DPS manage to kill the boss who left with 5% hp. After CNJ raise me, I lost it and furiously tell him to un-gimp(if this is a word..) himself before going to higher lvl dungeons. He's wearing lv10 gears for a lv23 dungeon omfg..

I've also thought of the same thing just now, and wanted to post an idea, but actually there's already a discussion on it, which is the link above.

Basically it's individual class/job having limit break lv1. In party situation, will built up gauge slowly, then when all have full gauge, can skillchain/combo with each other for a bigger effect.

It's actually an old regular battle system from FF11: party member A start weaponskill 1 > connect by party member B with weaponskill 2 > end by party member C(mage) with a final magic burst.

Wouldn't that be awesome! Imagine the graphics! lol

I know that, but yoshi-p is thinking about other direction which concerns abuse/exploits. I've check the JP feedback forum, didn't find anyone posting similar idea. English feedback is.. /sigh, if truth to be known, the dev seldom read from english threads. that thread i linked, is about the fun and party involvement. how should one get their own LB, and the rate of the charge of the lb. anyway, just give it a read, and read some of the replies in that thread. I do think it's an interesting idea, but that's entirely my perspective.

yes, there's quite a few concerning GCD complaints in the jp feedback. use google chrome, right click the page and select translate if cant fully understand japanese. you can get a general idea of what the jp feedbacks are like.

Hmm I'm trying to help my friend with his SE account.( Used 2 hours going back and forth with the SE live tech chat resetting password, token, security question orz. man... the queue!!! it's like 20mins per person to wait. )

Anyway, I'm looking at the emails he received from SQEX ( yes, he gave me his email to check stuff). The thing is, there's only a total of 3 emails from SQEX,
- first being the "Return to FF14 ARR" which describe the new revamp, links to the FF14 official website, and saying that my friend's account is automatically invited to phase 3 beta test, and will receive further notice on how to download the client.
- Second email : about regional data center and world transfer.
- Third email is about the status of world application.
Seems like he never receive any email concerning downloading the beta. I can't even log into the beta forum with his account, it says service account not active. Went into the account management, ff14 beta is not activated >.<

Now, I don't know about 1.0 players who never apply for the beta. How you guys get into beta? it's automatic? or got receive an email with instruction? or it's the same as other beta tester getting the invitation key from email then proceed from there?

orz, why lv29 GLA weapon looks like a wooden cricket bat.. will it break after hitting mob a few times XD

hmm maybe you just need practice lol. I'm using gamepad as a tanker and really it's quite easy for me.

well,
US = if you want to hang out more with US people. (English speaking mostly). But will have higher ping and 12hr+ time difference, might have problem with group event or guild event stuff.

EU = basically same as US but probably will have a portion of french, spanish, german speaking players. ping will be same as US since atm data center for europe is in US @@. around 7 hrs time difference, so there still might have problem with group event or guild event stuff, however not so extreme compared with US.

JP = Hang out with mostly japanese player. Will have a portion of players being english speaking since its ping is better with oceanic and SEA people. no problem with the 1hr time difference.

So there you have it. decision for urs to make.

well, I dont think getting any beta key now will do you any good. beta phase 3 ends tomorrow, monday 5pm. after that, it's probably around a 3-4 weeks wait for phase 4 which is open beta. Open beta don't need any key. Everyone can join, character data made during open beta, will be carried forward to launch date if no critical bug appears that need character wipe.

I'm kinda frustrated atm. How can I pre-order the game. I need a NA pre-order code. SQEX online store, can't have Malaysia as Country and it stated I need address to be same as my cc. Any other online purchase method?

you're sure the pre-order code not region lock? coz someone is telling me it's region lock. I mean the pre order code. I don't care about the game code which i'm 100% sure is region lock with account region, since I have it already lol (FF14 1.0).

that site, is the community site for NA, you would need to register a new account first, and try to use the same email u used for your SQEX account. I know, you must be thinking SQEX is so damn confusing. IT IS Frustrating! There's so many sites! First you have Lodestone, then your Account Management site, then this NA community site and they are all NOT directly related! man... It's been like this since 2003 FFXI days.. 10yrs in, and it's still the same stupid system. With FFXI it's even worst back then since you would have to use POL (Play Online) <- another system. Sorry I really had to let out steam, been really annoyed trying to get NA pre order but finally gamble by ordering EU version with GMG. All NA online pre order with SQEX online store, ur credit card needs US mailing addresses, despite you fill in a different form while entering credit card details. The address need to match .. I didn't try amazon with entering fake address because my mind is too exhausted already after few hours trying any means I was able to find.

I've really went and read that 111pages of the sticky with pre order info in beta forum..
The problem is that we can't try the pre order code yet until it sends us the detail to use it on a later date before early access starts.
Some say the pre order code is region free, any SQEX account can use (this was answered by a rep to a player in email).
then some say "Item code MAY NOT BE" region free (this was answered by a rep to a player in email).
and lastly some say it's region lock!(same thing, answered by a rep to a player in email)
man... same question directly to SQEX support, and all 3 guys getting different answers. I've also send in the ticket and hope will get a definite answer. I'm dying here. I really don't know why I want all these fuss just for having early access.
