Well everybody, we thought that 4.2.2 would be out by the end of v23, but at the very least Samsung FINALLY gave us an official update as we begin v24 today !!!!

Yea. Friend of mine having this issues after he flash to the ME6 rom.

That's that I flash and uses the same firmware but din't have this issue.

Just to inform that my pal successfully get rid of that the generic mei issues by flashing to latest XME rom (N7100XXDMF2_N7100OLBDMD2_XME). Can get it from sammobile.

No problem bro! Ain'y my set actually, my friend. I'm still with DLK5 baseband.

But my pal case is, he got signal from telco (DiGi) but can't have his mobile data to work. And when do *#06#,the imei is the generic type, aka 004999010640000.

So I suggest him try his luck by flash to the latest stock rom and it seems resolve the issue.

Curently he's on,

Baseband :N7100XDMF1
Build: N7100OLBDMD2

So fast so good now.

Sort of, better do EFS backup before do any flashing. Or else really pain on @ss.

Lol. I backup mine even I'm on pre root stock room.

Don't really like flash around as I found stock rom are so much enough for so I just go with root for special command.

but its best with Sentinel ROM + Devil Kernel + Crossbreeder

wow, i find the transparent front very nice, first time seeing it.

I'm using this one...so far I have no issue with hard button (on/off, volume) and the bottom part (home,back,menu/option)

yes it is mercury sp...but I longer use it. just removed it a week back. now naked..no sp..enjoy the clarity and hope no visible scratch occurs...hehehe

heard that the note 2's gorilla glass is strong enough on it's own against scratches, but for a paranoid like me, i'm also using the kristall liquid screen protector for the same clarity you get without any screen protector. again i need to thank disasternero for the contact.
