Anyone here not using any casing for their Note 2? Any major scratches so far? I intend to not use any casing for my Note 2 after this XD

maliiik please use a casing. A REAL CASING that covers the entire back, full bezel and has a lip over the screen. "Cases" that leave the top and bottom bezel exposed are only "back covers". Do not be fooled.

Guys, any recommended extended battery for note 2? found out SOT 4 hour+ still not sufficient for my usage ;p

OTA will fail if u are rooted.

Not true bro! Friend of mine that previously having the imei issue one, has already updated via OTA and now gotta flash back again cause he lost his root after update.

We are using the same official pre root rom from xda tho!

Not sure, but I doubt should be address the MF2 imei issues, which previously some user after updates and got their imei screwed up hard.

modem = baseband version right?

IF then yes, updated to MF2.

His set got screw up from DMC3 to to MF1 on the 1st time.

Then reflash again with MF1 official without root to get the imei fixed.

Then wipe and flash again with MF1 pre rooted.

And now, hand itchy updated to MF2 via OTA and lost his root.

So now using helium backup everything, then wipe and flash back the MF1 pre root.

Lol. I know its kinda messy.

Yea. Exactly, linux noobie here so hardly to cook own stock pre rooted rom.

Haven't see any update on xda side yet. So currently will stick to MF1 pre rooted until there's new one coming out lo.

P/s: Once rooted, will never go back.

Yeah we are all in GMT +8, but your clock is 1 hr ahead of mine at least.

Eiks! So nice? Weird.. I wonder why my pal said his root gone after OTA.

He said the root icon is there, but unable to run it. Something like binary missing.

OTA updated while rooted? Ok looks like kernel untouched that's why root is intact.

He stupid stupid go press install after all the update file been downloaded then after the updated and boot back to the system. He said he cannot run SU anymore even the icon still here. Once he run SU, there's msg pop out said SU binary missing.

Lazy to restore things. Better wait for xda version then can just flash right away.

Restoring is easy. Doesnt take too much time. It saves time rather than u have to download everything again from playstore.

The previous 1, my normal daily cycle .. phone last me til sleep time still remain 20%.

5.99" screen is good size compare to 6.4" for me & Wow! flexible display will be most welcome but I have my doubts.
