Which specific option in Triangle Away? I don't think I have seen anything like that in TA.

This OTA mentioned something about fixing the battery drain in 4.1.2 hence my interest in it.

QUOTE(Avatar1975 @ Jul 4 2013, 11:36 PM)
asking, what is the latest stock rom for note 2?
I was update last month (around 22 June 2013).
download the firmware from sammobile, N7100XXDMF2
last few days I received Samsung update again, then I go to sammobile and would like to download the latest firmware, but I noticed that is new firmware but is same with N7100XXDMF2.

I am rooted user and using odin pro to flash latest firmware in order to keep the root.

now the Samsung update is very annoy to me every 3 hours need to keep postpone install.

so any1 can tell me what is the latest firmware and where to download?

or can I update the firmware then use the old method to root again.

TQ.

its still XXDMF2, but with XXDMF2 baseband, the earlier have XXDMF1 baseband, Yes the 2 firmware in sammobile are the same one both have DMF1 baseband. The easiest ways for me to root is using Framaroot.APK icon_rolleyes.gif .

Cannot off the data. Relay alot on the 3G data due to work nature. laugh.gif

Just wonder about the juice defender as read from the reviews it seems MANY claims it works. icon_idea.gif

I have some problem too if on Data 24/7, battery can stand between 4-5hours only, so like what alex recommended, lower the CPU clock and do UV using custom roms,

You dun need custom rom to underclock or UV. A custom kernel that supports it will do.

The tweaks from custom rom have little effects for battery savings. Most are not related.
*
yes, i know, but most bloatware already taken and some are already tune-up for better performance smile.gif

I will reserve my comment on that  whistling.gif , but what i am trying to state is please do not imply custom rom will give better battery saving which will mislead new users to custom rom as this is not true.
*
not 100% not true,

situation one, custom kernel + stock roms, with data 24/7, my average sot is 5-6 hours
situation two, custom kernel + custom roms with data 24/7, my average sot is 6-7 hours sometimes 8hours smile.gif
