Sony was aiming for that size because many travelers put their passports inside a coat pocket and have it with them at all times while on the road. And by allowing the use of a regular pen to scribble on the glass, travelers using the device won't have to carry around a stylus. While the screen is not made of Gorilla Glass, it is supposedly just as tough.

Eh? I didn't know Japanese passports were THAT big ...... I just compared my passport to the Note 2.
The Note 2 is longer by about 15mm and the passport is wider by about 10mm.

not too shabby.. projecting 1hr 8 mins on 17% battery life, should give around 4 mins for 1%, and to use up the full 100% will give a screen on time of 6 hours 48 mins..

wataheck the stock 1.6ghz also sapu my score already.
