For a graphic intensive games, lenovo only uses shared heat pipe for gpu and cpu and if u running sli. This is consider a good temperature.

or should I resist the calling of SLI?

Official local set Y510p run out of stock due to popular demand and restocking ETA around 2 weeks according to resellers.    Probably upgrade with graphic card GT755m(GDDR5). 
Suggest to wait for local set with 2 yrs warranty support and avoid grey imported US set(AP set) with no warranty support locally.

pressed power & no display but fan spinning like hell.

hi guys, i am a new user of y510p, got a question here, when i play games, the temperature goes until 80-90 degree celcius, is this normal? or is there anything i can do to lower it a lil bit, i'm using notepal u3 + additional aerocool fan but the temperature still high, i never use a gaming laptop before,

I like y410p but have to go and see it first as I'm not sure how big is the screen. I don't own any laptop so cannot do comparison.

Erm if ap set is not covered by Lenovo Malaysia warranty, can I still send it to them for repair at a cost? And how much to replace the gt750 gpu? RM600?

Local set Y410p is selling around RM27xx and Y510p around RM29xx. u can try to search hard for remaining stock of phased out model Y400/GT750m/DOS around RM2.3k.

of course you could replace the HDD with SSHD (SSHD is just a normal HDD with build in SSD cache )
Seagate Momentus SSHD (1TB HDD + 64MB cache + 32G SSD) is < RM500.

Currently in the office without a lot of time to go through the thread so hope that kind forumers here can help clear some things for me:

1. Where can I find a better deal for Lenovo Y400 compared to Lowyat? OR is there any shops there that would be highly recommended to buy Y400 from.

2. How does the Y400 fare with connecting with external 21" 1440x900 resolution monitor (dual monitor setup)?

3. How awesome is it to be an owner if Y400?

Bro ajul, u are selling US set(AP set) with no warranty support locally, mind to tell us how u help ur clients with AP set when local service centre rejected their major warranty claims for 1 to 1 replacement?

ur US set Y510p come with 24GB m.2 SSD for caching and not mSATA SSD. 
Better get a bigger capacity 2.5" SATA SSD for OS & programs to boost performance.
