Nah, I'm using the thick paste like paint stripper. Brush onto metal, then let it sit.

That's what I meant. Don't let it "sit" too long. Different paints different requirement.

Owh, okay. I thought the paint stripper you were talking about is the dilute version. tongue.gif sorry.

I'll let it sit base on the instruction on the can. 5-10 minutes.

Hi all sifus,
Newbie in watercooling and just getting started.
I am using compressing fitting, do i need to tighten the fitting at rad or wb using playar or just enough using my hand only?afraid it will leak if not tight enough.

Just tighten as much as the fittings allow it. Too much and the o-rings will be flattened, too little and the fitting will leak.

Pretty much. If you're going to use a tool to help, just go as far as your fitting will allow without you having to use too much force.

You don't flush with pump. Dry pump is dead pump. You can easily flush your loop without drain port by carefully disconnecting the lowest point tube. Put a bucket below.

Its better if u can..if u cant..just put a bucket/mug/or anything tht can fit in ur case..put some cloths/tissue on the area around the fitting u want to disconnect to prevent spillage on to ur component..

Why not install an inline drain port?

Does anyone here carry or have PT Nuke fluid for sale? Or knows anyone or any store locally that carries them?

My build is done and the coolant uses dye+distilled water, and I'd dont want to use silver killcoil to avoid spoiling its looks.
