Nope, the power spike caused my LED controller to burned. Still able to control 12v DC to 620v DC or AC IDK.

and, not that hot, just warm.

Would you recommend CCFLs in a case with terrible air exchange?

I don't recommend CCFL with any case at all. Bad light distribution ( some part will dim/bright depending on your luck ) . Need a bulky transformer. Hard to install ( not as easy as plug and play like LED ).

Better off with LEDs.

Well, if you have CCFL lying around your house, and decided to make use of it, and put into some system , then go with it. I've put mine in my 2nd system. biggrin.gif
*
Shouldn't the distribution be better than led? oO.

Saw this and was thinking of doing something similar. haha.

i used the UV CCFL few months ago, the light distribution is much better than LED strip TBH
haha but heat and cable are the main issue
*
So heat is an issue then? Cable can sleeve. tongue.gif

sucks laugh.gif used it before, it gets dimmer after using it for a long period. worst thing is very hard to hide it, its quite thick so cant really fit in tight gaps.  best part is I broke 1 tube by accidentally stepping on it. Once its cracked, bye bye...led strip way better tongue.gif

led strip depends la, got two types, super bright & normal. Normal version have better light distribution...thats how I get the best light distribution for my luminous panel.

ps: I am gonna sell my nzxt hue end of this month tongue.gif
*
Oo. Never heard the dimmer part before.

Why selling your hue? You use before then sell the adhesive how? LOL.

Yeah true.

I have one question to ask, is Silverstone TJ08E good for watercooling? I was thinking to buy that for my rig.

Should I buy casing first or buy the wc kit first?

I will only add more rad in the future. If I know how to hahaha.

Any casing to recommed? Budget around RM300. Is 300R ok?

Or should.i go with my asgard to save $$$?
*
The TJ08E is great for watercooling on a small scale, but the 180mm radiator is nearly impossible to find locally so people usually get it from overseas.

Here's a sample image. sidewinderz, borrow photos again. laugh.gif (I post up on front page ok with you? tongue.gif)

I'd say get the case first so you can physically measure, see and get ideas of what to do.

As for budget casing without modding, I'll leave it to the others here to chip in. My case is about RM300, but it's heavily modded. laugh.gif

At the end of the day, the choice is completely up to you bro. If you can make the Asgard work, do it. Otherwise, if you feel like going the easy route and not mod anything then you will want to change your case. Personally, I like the NZXT Phantom 630, but that's not exactly a budget case.

truee2 Want to get a 570 block from PPC? got a bulk closing. brows.gif

Nope. Primochill has different sized tubes that don't even fit Bitspower C47s. Those are special order acrylic tubes.
