Looks like this is the real tycoon here hauling without price in mind. mine shown already last nite, nano haul only If you can find 50% off, accidentally click one set for me as well hahaha. QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jul 1 2013, 10:54 PM) Ready for haul of this week spam although not as huge as bro bloodghost? hahaha taikun! Got my friend who was in New York to bring these back for me from Lego store. Something interesting he told me. The price tag for the sets in Lego store are all 2-10USD higher than the ones listed in shop.lego.com. For example, 76003 is priced at USD54.99 while shop.lego is only at USD49.99. Luckily, my friend printed my list with the price taken from shop.lego and showed the counter person. The store manager had no choice but to sell based on the online price. If you see the receipts below there are two prices stated for each item, the regular and marked up price. So guys, if you do end up buying stuff from Lego Store in US make sure you have the online store price ready at hand to compare. Anyway, this most probably all the hauls I will have till end of the year except for some new summer sets which I'm waiting for a good deal to appear. Bought most if not all the sets on my wishlist and I think most of the 2012 released sets hahaha QUOTE(angel9362 @ Jul 1 2013, 11:15 PM) really rare now, around 900 I think? |

QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jul 2 2013, 07:19 AM) on this I agree with u, another taikun have owned u QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Jul 2 2013, 08:25 AM) Good morning AFOLs, in that case, bloodghost shall be known as King Leonidas since he's our taikun of taikuns This isn't madness. THIS. IS. SPARTA! From this moment forth, I declare major hauls to be "Spartan" hauls. Elite. Best of the best! No more tycoon. Tycoon title doesn't seem to fit now. Who's with me? This means got many Spartans here. Some injected with/drank Super Soldier Serum/Potion! Better get Funhouse while you still can. This set is hard to come by now and I believe it was an old Toys R Us exlcusive (from last year?) I was lucky I got a good deal! One of our bros selling it here. QUOTE(mryellow19 @ Jul 2 2013, 08:27 AM) I actually started my collection with a UCS. From then, it's hard not to look for big sets (Modulars as an example) to buy hahaha. Then I started getting myself poisoned for other themes. For superheroes, I actually got all sets released last year except for Wolverine and Batwing over Gotham. Still thinking over them whether I should get or not. Then here are some themes that I have as well: mau Lighthouse? 1. Lone Ranger - completed all 6 sets except for polybags. 2. CMF - some completed series and some random minifigs from older series. 3. Modulars - completed starting from Fire Brigade. Anything prior to that is too expensive. 4. Creator houses - Missing Apple Tree House and Lighthouse. 5. Advance Built sets - Only Tower Bridge but planning to get Opera House 6. SW - Some iconic sets that I wanted. Not really into collecting all SW. Just too many lol 7. City sets - Got most of the 2012 sets as well. Waiting for good deal on this year's summer sets hahaha 8. Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge 9. Technic - Poison seeping in very slowly. Only owned 42000 but all the way at the bottom of wishlist has 9398 lol |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jul 2 2013, 11:24 PM) I think it's a competition to design the top portion cover of the car several months ago. I think I saw many designs previously for voting. yea it was. They were tasked to design just the upper body while using the same chasis from 9398 The bottom chassis looks similiar like a regular 9398. Even if not, the placement of servo-motor, and the L-motors driving the front and back wheels, are similiar. QUOTE(juschin @ Jul 3 2013, 02:13 AM) Morning taikun! |

Poison Ivy comparison.
Left is from the Batcave set, right from the AA set. Notice the torso print on the left one is darker, anyone else can compare theirs? Wonder if mine is a defect ![]() oh and Poison Ivy wishes good night This post has been edited by scpt: Jul 4 2013, 01:13 AM |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Jul 4 2013, 08:13 AM) Good morning AFOLs, quick. I wanna know if I have a special one Thanks for sharing boss. Abit too late for me so just have to suck it up and imagine owning that modular that I could've bought instead Eh. Thought no more hauls? Suddenly Castle theme and Town Square in the picture Bieber is cool! He's gonna be the next Luke Skywalker yo. I can jusy imagine him flipping his hair in every scene throughout the movie. All upcoming LEGO Lukes will have that hairstyle Speaking of which, I think Lego Luke had had at least 3 different hairstyles from various sets. Hmm. Interesting. I'll compare mine when I get around to opening up my AA |
