They are far more cheaper then they were before. If you're talking about EF then of course premium price for premium item

VOTA's Health Link/Reflect Damage/Fire Chain or Plague is hell.. especially those spinning ones with Electrifiend...Hell for barb's.. For some reason I don't have problems using monk.. WTH

+ desecrator + molten + vortex + cold.
HOTA/WW/Rend hybrid barb can handle these with ease.
A Rend can restore HP immediately.
For barb, I choose to stand in the pool of desecrator+plague+molten because I gain fury from these elemental attacks. I just HOTA/rend the elites until they died (then I immediately WW to the next target).

Monk is not so easy to stand in the pool of 3-stack desecrator + plague + molten, especially +vortex + cold without serenity.
Unless you have high defensive attributes (i.e. 600AR + 6000Armor) + high LS + burst damage skill (i.e. WoL).

D3 toons have come to the new height until the release of expansion.
We need to achieve certain level of IAS/CC/CD for some build (i.e. CM Wiz, DH with Manticore etc).
To achieve certain DPS (i.e. 300K+), we almost need to get perfect CC/CD/IAS in most of our gears.

ya noticed the trend recently. amulet has str/vit/cc but no cd.
scrap immediately.


Doing Keyhunting and Damm f***.... Sokahr has dropped 0 keys for me in 5 runs in the oasis.
i've got 6-7 of the key of destruction and terror, but 0 key of hate..

is it that normal of just rotten luck?

Rotten Luck. It happens on lower mp and even on mp9. The only guaranteed way is mp10. Barb is by far the easiest to encounter Sokahr. Btw, what mp are you running on. Also, CD is a huge stat to not have especially running HOTA build. I think amulet should come with CD because it gives 100% CD stat, you can not have it on rings but personally ammy is a must have. Also, running WW build, there are breakpoints to meet so AS is also very important if your going to run WW with Double Tornados which is at least 2.5BP>

4. I have no problem with EF fear. DW w/o EF is not easy, need a lot of IAS slots..

1. Don't get marquise if you have budget constraint.

2. No for most barbs. Most people use BR/ITF because it is the fury engine.
You didn't use fury engine and therefore you felt like running short of fury.

3. You need fury for sure. You need SoJ HOTA -4/-5. You need to stand on a pool of plague/molten/desecrator. If you have sufficient LS, you can use passive/Superstition.

4. Generally not an issue if you have WW hybrid build. A cold damage SoJ will help too.
