unfortunately barb still lacks good single target skills.. i will say cota if you want one, and mirinae for extra std.

QUOTE(deathTh3Cannon @ Apr 9 2015, 01:29 PM) for ww build, currently highest clear is gr 53 using 5ww+3ik. but if you want a "best" ww build in 2.2, then we will need to let the dust settle until those GR kaki get their optimal gear and rift setup.anyway! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTRAagg02s8 |

http://www.twitch.tv/zangdar72/c/6505315 edit: if you want to push the leaderboard as far as you can, reakor will still be the number 1 choice. unless something changes for ww. happy farming! This post has been edited by hOnGhOnG: Apr 9 2015, 10:29 PM |

QUOTE(lace @ Apr 10 2015, 11:39 PM) ww+ik is definately good for t6 currently the gear that everyone uses in high GR (50+) is waste5+ik3, it's the balance of dmg output to clear high gr and damage mitigation. Reakor has the potential if one can fish hard enough, but i guess everyone is tired of that playstyle.but i doubt it for high lvl grift... many ppl still stands for reakor in high lvl grift... any comments boys? |

if you ww, it's either IKBB or BKO. yes 5 pieces waste, 3 pieces IK + rorg is what most higher gr players use now.

QUOTE(waklu @ Apr 13 2015, 03:23 PM) haha.. come back to NS la bro, your buddy f3do miss you so much!QUOTE(cherries @ Apr 13 2015, 04:34 PM) Skull grasp is not good because the additional ww damage it provides is of additive side. Besides, most of your damage comes from dust devil, not whirlwind. Unity is ok in 5ww+3ik setup, but you will lose a lot of damage using unity in IK5+BKO setup because focus + restraint makes your damage 1.5*1.5 = 2.25 times higher. Without F&R IK5+BKO has very low damage output. COE is nice if you have more than 1 element in your build. For example if you run lightning cota in your build, then COE will benefit you more due to more uptime on COE - lightning for cota and physical for dust devil. Barb has 4 element, so if you have a 200% coe, it means overall an 50% damage boost to all element. To compare to SOJ: Stone of jordan : 2 primary rolls ( crit + socket would be optimal ) 20% Elemental damage 30% Elite damage Convention of Elements 4 primary rolls ( Crit chance, damage, socket, mainstat /AS ) 50% element damage. Good DPS SOJ = 20% elemental, 30% elite, CHD/CHC, OS Good COE = Main stat, CHC (guarantee), CHD, OS You lose 30% elite damage for 30% elemental damage with additional 2 primary affix. And.. thats is for 1 element, if you use multiple element in your build, it's a clear winner. Cota do their own thing, you ww all the time. You dont need to track this ring other then maybe rend. COE>SOJ. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Apr 14 2015, 01:03 PM) Failed in the synergy of the skill. Agree. The fun of it. If you played the old WW before, you found the synergy of skills (sprint-WW) and resource (i.e.fury generation) matched perfectly. Now the WW build is like D2. Everything is "automatic". It lacks the fun. Let me give you few example. 2-piece IK and you will not run short of resource (fury), generally. You close your eyes and WW and yuo'll find you spawn tornadoes more than sweeping wind-cyclone monk and energy twister Wizard. You don't sprint any more. You don't need to sprint any more. Use Bul-Khatos 's mighty weapon set. The whole game play is not quite right. There is no synergy and it's like playing D1 and D2. It shows how shallow the current development team is. Lack of vision. Lack of synergy. What the current team now is keep boosting damage output. For example, ancient weapon. You will get 20% damage boost generally. Keep buffing damage output. Now we see 1-2billions damage per hit. Blizzard might as well slap 50,000% damage bonus on IK set right in the beginning. Get what I mean? Now recall back what Blizz did. Removed synchronisation of sprint & WW. And now they put back sprint-WW and tons of tornadoes but all generated by gears. Seriously, that feeling sucks. Jay Wilson double it. But the current team sextuple (look at number of tornadoes created). Jay Wilson was a genius. In Vanilla, you bash 3 times, then keep holding ww (as long as ww doesn't stop, you gain permanent damage increase from bash:punish, then you run like the wind for movement speed, main damage output and to dump fury. Use BR:into the fray to regain your fury when you crit, to regain more fury, you use OP:killing spree for another 8% crit. When you gain fury, you add more time into WOTB for perma zerker. They sync with each other. It's true that the new ww has 0 synergy in skills. Because set items took care of that, so our skill slots are filled with offensive (BR) and defensive (WC/lightning cota) skill - to make more damage and take less damage, not to sync. JW is indeed a genius. And props to Dino, the originator of WW/RLTW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkXf1aR2LXA QUOTE(fe3doe @ Apr 14 2015, 05:25 PM) me want HOTA barb back!!! HOTA.. HOTA.. HOTA.. QUOTE(PirateKing @ Apr 15 2015, 01:11 AM) Hi guys, weapon damage type won't affect your dmg output. element do. So if you use WW+dust devil rune, you can stack physical for more dmg. Im abit curious..while spinning WW+Dust Devil, did weapon damage type/element also effect the damage output of WW? Havn't try before..but need your opinion. I just start s3 2days ago and dont have ramaladni gift yet. What I should reroll to once I got ramaladni. Yeh i know i should get bulkathos weapon set or IK boulder breaker..but haven't found em yet. my current blackguard pretty shiok d. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « another example is if you use Waste 6 bonus, since you get dust devil rune automatically and you can choose another ww rune, if you use WW+windsheer rune then you will have higher ww+dd dmg output by stacking lightning. It means dust devil element type is according to your ww rune selection. WW% on items also incease ww AND DD dmg. But skull grasp does not (for DD). So ideally you want to roll WW dmg on boots, and helm only if you can afford to lose 23% life gem on helm (Str/VIT/CC/WW no socket). for your weapon, i will roll away RCR to socket, then roll it to 10% dmg when you have a gift. QUOTE(PirateKing @ Apr 15 2015, 02:02 PM) Thanks for advice buddy. Here my link to my current char. Still working on to get better bracer. This bracer I use previously with Hota build. I guess you're doing speed farming? For speed farming yeah, mobs die too fast to generate enough fury. You don't need berserker rage passive because as you said you're never full or almost full fury. I will take fury cota, wind sheer, unforgiving, weapon mastery (if you use mighty weapon, if you don't, try animosity), hexing pant (if you have one) and change templar 4th skill to the one that generate fury. Also use warcry - charge if you're speed farming. Overpower - momentum generate fury too but it's not very reliable. Yes if you're using windsheer most of the time go for lightning damage bracer. Now Im using WW+WindShear cos still learning how to manage my fury. Always depleted most of the time. Change to Wind Shear and take passive Berserker Rage instead of Weapon Master/Bloodthirst. So I better find 1 bracer with +lightning damage% to more WW damage output right? And I heard Asp also increase damage of Dust Devil? So I decide to try on Asp on glove instead of CD. Dont bother my helm..not enough mats to reroll till get max WW. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Plusmin...0/hero/60405526 ASPD doesn't increase the "damage" of your ww and DD, it just makes them hit more often / more ticks, so more damage, but not in the sense of increasing the "raw damage".
