It is all but a rumor until July 1 sets in.

Btw we already signed someone!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...istol-City.html - This is not a rumor. LOL
Is this guy related to Spurs's Harry Kane??

Alberto:
- Barca's refusal to pickup option on him implies that he is no better than their current crop.
- If you were to look at Spain's national squad, almost all of the bigger names have gotten numerous caps in u-21.
- Alberto has only made 1 u-21 appearance so it basically means he is not as good as many other youngsters in the country and is likely to not be an important player for the national team in the future.
- Not saying he is bad or he will not turn out good, just saying the
asking price is a tad too much for an unproven kid who's only real experience is Segunda Division.
- Let's not compare him with Coutinho, Coutinho has played quite a number of first team football in Brazil, Italy and Spain. He is also very highly rated amongst Brazilian youngsters racking up numerous caps and winning an u-17 competition for Brazil in the process.
- Alberto much more unproven than Coutinho.
Mkhitaryan:
- Hope we can conclude the deal soon, this guy looks the real deal.
- I still prefer
Christian Eriksen though, what do you guys think about him?
Downing:
- Was decent for the 2nd half of the season but if he is earning wages as reported in the media we should sell him to shed some wage bill.
- Don't see much playing opportunity for him next season.
Ince:
- Typical overrated/overpriced youngster.
Robinson:
- Glad to have him too but he is just not ready for first team action.
- Would love to see him loaned out to another side in the top flight.
- Let's not forget how defensive mistakes have cost us games last season. It's been 4 seasons since CL football, if we don't get back in soon the financial gap will widen further and further.
- The only one hyping up on Luis Alberto is Seville, & they're the selling club.
- Prefer Eriksen but if I'm him, I'll go Dortmund, CL team, Bundesliga challengers, pivot of a young team which he wont get as Gerrard is ard.
- Downing like Henderson didn't do justice to their hype/talent/price tag. At least Henderson is young & showing signs of getting his confidence back. Downing, if there's takers, selling him will be a good option.
Ince - couldn't agree more with you.
Robinson - seems his growth rather stagnant for couple of seasons....not sure whether loan will do him good as he's been on loan for last season as well. question is can he up his game a level to Reds requirement? or just a Championship team level?
