yeah the ULV CPU... doesn't bring much battery saving... maybe its due to the GTX GPU taking much more power.

My Bad. G56JR runs on i5-4200H not i5-4200U. Darn Intel naming senses. It can get confusing.
They did single hatch maintenance in G550 which is good news. And there's G551(G550 refresh) which will feature GTX 860M.

Upcoming G-series lineup would be G551 and GX500.

I think MY unit will use at most i7 4710HQ. Never went over that. I think GTX 8xxM is a specimen tick Maxwell like last time GT/GTX 8xxx desktop series last time.

It won't be cheap that's for sure, and It uses GTX 780 while GTX970/980 is available now in current market custom build would be much cheaper compare to G20AJ

That's BS by the stuff. U can do the SSD upgrade easily. There's 2 Upgrade u can do as a user, HDD upgrade and RAM Upgrade, from ur such queries u could've spend a little more time study the user manual and understand ur laptop better.

Start Up time is really slow due to Asus likes to use 5400RPM hard disk on their models as oppose of the 7200 RPM nor SSHD.

Service center is somewhere in LYP.

Fresh installation is recommended for SSD installation.
I'm not sure about about that Win 8 License. But check ur manual if it has write anything about ur win 8 license key.
