mcm roti canai... yo no bangla/india working in Asus engineer... i am very sure is not just about solder the gpu, have to make sure stability.. air flow so thermal function can easily transfer out away from body.. body design play a role too in making good Sli notebook... unsure.gif

yeah for the high end gpu they got heat up very quickly, it need to have very good thermal solution in order to have cool environment when gaming. Further more gaming notebook trend starting to heading slim & sexy body... that is the biggest challenge for engineer icon_idea.gif

why would u need 4k display... our eye actually cannot see more then 720p... not human eye is FHD... lol

Anyway, who would not like new things new feature at the 1st place? Especially we talk about technology. 4k display, very high res, really can see details on blueray. Even you pause the video it looks like picture by itself. Better than watch TGV in cinema. But instead of notebook, i rather it output to 4k TV lar biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

i just happened to update my drivers very frequently. except for bios, the drivers are fine to play with. worst comes to worst we just revert the restore point, or perform a clean install.

stock 209. i cannot go up beyond that because when i installed the higher versions, i have frozen power button (meaning to say it will not shutdown properly; and it will not wake up after sleep)

previously there were some people here had the same thing. additionally my laptop is 3d model.
