We talk about current yield - return / yr cost or market price

If yield , Dividends / market price ( to match with FD offers ) then likely no 7% , am I right hmm.gif

Exactly! Why risk on buying stocks that might tumble down when can get guaranteed 7% FD? It is a no brainer

Cannot just look at interest rate, must look at the inflation. Like indon interest is already more than 7%, still the stock market fly?

The 7% is only dividend excluding capital gain. icon_idea.gif

Tower reit early 2013 RM1.5 now 1.6 = 6.67% capital appreciation.
+6.3% dividend = 12.97% low risk good return. icon_idea.gif

Just go check Tower, AmFirst and AmanahRaya. rclxms.gif
But do your homework, office-based reit might not have much upward potential due to oversupply of office buildings.

FYI, AmAsia Pacific REITs (a unit trust fund investing in Asia Pac REITs) had a run of +26% in 2012.

Mere interest rate scare sent it tumbling in recent months

Not to say I curse u, for Malaysian REITs, just a matter of time wink.gif
