Got to DZ L12 and bought the high end liberator. Think boils down to your luck who you run into. Saw quite a few douche preying on solo players by going rogue at the last possible seconds before you manage to holster your loot/s during extraction. This afternoon was playing with a large group that really look out for each other during the extraction. Still 50/50 on whether to buy the game or not. Not entirely confident there will be enough contents to sustain interest in the long run. Also lacks of classes or personality to distinct from one player to the other. It's quite fun while it last.
A little torn playing low level in DZ at the moment. Green gear simply does not cut it and the npc packs a wallop. Most of the blue gear chests are not even up for looting (Think you need DZ L30! and filter L4 to tresspass subway). Guess will wait till mid L20 to tackle the dark zone. Harder difficulty on campaign mission can yield pretty quick leveling with good co-op players, so a little counter intuitive to grind DZ for the sweet loots at the early game. Just my thought!
Missions above level 25 is heavy on co-op. The enemies just gang bang you on every corner, even in simple side/encounter mission. The consolation is they start to drop superior gear.
Just done a daily mission of the "challenge" mode. Man they can take really long time to complete. You do get the giddy feeling when the mission accomplished graphic pops up. It's not a walk in the park....but team work is a must to go through it. Road to high end gear is quite compelling.
There are two ways: 1. Tackle all the side mission to get the extra bonus at the respective jtf officer at your fast travel point. You also get blueprints to give you a headstart in gear fabrication at hq. Do as many encounter as you can. Very easy and quick to do these type of missions during early to mid-game. By the time you clear out a single district you are most likely over leveled. Dismantle junk gear instead of selling so you can create more item from blueprints. 2. Rush through main mission. Salvage loots and sell everything to buy the OP gear. The mid and late game gives out lots of xp. Since the endgame after level 30 revolves around doing hard/challenge mode, you can solo the normal mode easily without co-op or doing hard mode when you are rocking gear above the mission threshold.
There might be a rush to get the high end liberator blueprint since the weapon vendors are resetting their stock by tomorrow. Those who don't make it can substitute it with a purple LVOC something from completing the level 30 side missions. The carbine firing rate is crazy good. The only downside it eats ammunition like nobody's business and expensive to craft.

The telling sign your session lagging when the 100% loading screen kept looping for a few seconds. At the safe house open a restock crate to check the animation timing. If it's stuck or took more than a few seconds. Just log out and reconnect again to see the situation improve or not, think it boils down to luck also.
The mat salleh I was playing with did said the lag can be spotty from their end as well.
To those who just hit Level 30, avoid doing Russian Consulate and Warrengate Power Plant Challenge mode. Farm enough Phoenix credits to buy some Level 31 blueprints and really maxed out your play style stats. Took us an hour plus to do per mission. Need to co-ordinate concentrate fire and when to rush the enemies. It's super hardcore difficult. Farm Lincoln Tunnel challenge mode for easy 30 Phoenix credits or you have those super agents to co-op with.
ohhh and I thought the choice was hard wondering if i should get the base game or season pass. thanks alot! did anyone get season pass btw? should be joining you guys soon
Wait and see on season pass...coz don't know how rich are the dlc contents yet. One or two hour story campaign or something deeper like higher level cap. Furthermore the dark zone still needs balancing tweak for pvp.
I think they fix the loot thing didn't find any named enemy
Either you have killed him earlier or they have nerfed it. Really lucky to get him to drop a L31 Caduceus out of 30 mins farming. The 2nd character is worthwhile to do. With constant L30 gear extraction from the dark zone, the 2nd character will have enough funds to buy any early/mid game gear from vendors without worrying about credits. The sharing phoenix credits still there to exploit. Now only the damn vendor resets his stock to see other HE goodies.
Yesterday was nightmare playing with level 30 noobs on challenging missions. They pop few shots and runaway to hide rather than holding the fort and got no balls to rush in. 10 mins mission stretch out to 30.
