daily challenging mission yesterday was lexington event center, everything was fine until you went up the lift....no where to cover against the two fat guys....throw every grenade and special bullets....
*
Two ways to go about that work out for us before....cheese them with smart covers/healing station and take down the grenadiers as fast as possible. Then concentrate fire on big guy and follows by the sniper in the background.

Secondly run to waypoint to take down the sniper camping near the hostage....the key is concentrate fire on whatever that comes up with flash and grenades. This way you delay the second big guy and the last sniper away from your group rather than caught deep in clusterfcuk. You need high dps team mate to kill things fast. Do not underestimate blind cover fire... it works beautifully under the right circumstances. Don't take the elevator to restock because the big guy's armor regenerates while you do that.

just reached lvl 30, and DZrank 15. been trying to farm around DZ solo, but damn hard. Is it because my stats are too low.?

DPS: 60K
Health: 40K
Power: 12K

Maybe i should join u guys play around dz.

Take note of your weapon mod that up the crit factor.
Pop pulse scan that up damage and healing that boosts damage regularly or both together when taking down a named boss.
Aim for HE weapon by buying blueprint at BoO. Black market AK and Vector are a great combo at the moment because of their bullet count that can last for awhile. Just keep crafting them to get the one that best suited your play style and recalibrate your gear to change stats a little here and there.
Join the PS4 community thingy at the game tab to ask for people's help. So far they are OK except that few dicks you can come across.

I tried challenging Russian Consolate daily last night for the first time. Can't finish even the first major encounter. A bunch of normal LMB guy with 10~15 squares of armor each. One sniper head shot crit 170k only ate about 3 squares. Team mates SMG spray also about 5 squares per magazine. Am I doing something wrong?
*
Gotta do the passive aggressive play style. Knowing when to hold and when to rush is a major factor. Team co-ordination is a must to complete it. Familiarity to what enemies will come up is another thing to consider. Combine Tactical link and Survivor link to rambo the big guy with shield.

Dark Zone now felt like Wild Wild West with people hitting the level 50 cap or exploiting a 2nd character build. Just watch your back a little more, especially at the Zone 05 & 06. biggrin.gif

You know what's more difficult than challenging mode... L22 playing an L27 hard mode Russian Consulate. Took us forever to do and we thought gonna be easy peasy since we kinda veteran on the daily challenge grind. A virgin DZ character hits L14 in about an hour and a half farming route. Survive 2 manhunt and lost once, the XP meter kept filling up like crazy. biggrin.gif

Post patch 1.02 you need strong team mates to run 05 & 06, stronger enemies just one part but the rogue dicks camping at extraction is the problem you gotta deal unwantedly. You need partner to run useful skills like pulse to get a sense of where everyone is. Sticky bomb to hurt rogue as quickly as possible.
Usually they waited at the subway which they can run to whatever extraction point being called. The worst are those who didn't just kill you, but robbing the chance of you taking down the named bosses. Another trick they often used is calling for extraction under the pretense of clearing enemy waves only to kill you last minute.
We got around 2 or 3 yellows about an hour grind that's provided you got good scavenger stats. A fair bit of HE weapon is crap unless you are lucky to get the one that comes with good talent and DPS. Buying blueprints still the way to go at the moment. For strange reason the dz key chest stood a better chance unopened down there.

They can have my DZ5-6 items for all I care... since only greens and blues puke.gif
If I get HE, I won't extract at DZ5-6 sweat.gif

Not for us...so far haven't seen blue or green on our end. Most of our yellow drops are from there. confused.gif
The friendly zone can also rife with dicks except easier to defend as compared to 05&06. biggrin.gif

I want the exp points sad.gif

Depending on how you view boosting your stats....just that you get more option for mods and crafting materials to roll the gear you want.
It's worth it on my end. laugh.gif
Furthermore you need yellow division tech to craft DZ blueprints. 01-03 division tech spot usually addy been looted when so many players gather around there.

Seeing that I haven't reached 50 yet, I've got a fair few of those lying around doing nothing  dry.gif
I suppose once i get there then they'll be a scarce resource.

I have no idea where they came from though, are they from loot containers or dropped by named bosses and were picked up when i walked past their dead bodies loot piles?
*
I haven't reached L50 only 40-ish right now. So far I only had 10-12 yellow division tech. They are rifle case like and you can spot one easily at the library right next to DZ key chest. Enemies can drop them as well but it's rare for the yellow one.

if the map shows the area in light purple, the division tech should still be available right?
*
Nope and they are kinda located obscurely and 1 out of 4 case you will find 1 yellow so you can see the mob redditors raising their pitch fork with their incessant bitching rants. biggrin.gif
It's better to take note of the mini map when you see triple dot triangle.

Hi guys, managed to reach Level 30 not too long ago.

Was wondering about what kind of gear you'll need before being able to run Challenging missions, because right now, I'm getting my ass kicked.
*
- You need to grind phoenix credits to buy yellow blueprints.
- Black Market AK74, Vector, Liberator, & Pakhan are the better choice.
- M1A & Custom M44 if you are sniping. Barney version will do.
- Take note of mods that up the crit output.
- Pulsing with Crit damage is important... before the start of mission look at the skills your mates are using. You need 2 persons running it one after another.
- Survivor link to bring up the mvp so the fight resumes.
- Empty your magazine at enemies...not burst fire.
- Do get a third weapon with different ammunition on standby so you can swap to it when your ammo run out.
- Position yourself to use blind fire.
- The fight will drag if you do not push through so get to know which one to take down first. Take note of medic, engineer, grenadier, shotgun rusher, sniper....
- Practice and farm Lincoln Tunnel because it's the easiest one around. Russian Consulate and Warrengate the hardest.

After using Vector for the longest time, now get to use something else. biggrin.gif

Roll a bad dmg but decent talent for the MP5.
Tactical ACR got potential to be great with the right talent. DMG output not as fierce as Blk Mkt AK but handling is good with the right mods. It's better than Caduceus for me personally.
Guess post DZ50 will be hunting yellow div tech for me.

Need to make stamina a little more tanky without dipping DPS too much....is my goal!
MP5 base dmg only 7k++ but it comes with talent to damage armor and extra damage to elite. You need plus ammo mods to use MP5 because it eats bullets and the trick is to offload the whole clip on the enemy.

I I barely get past 130k DPS, how'd you do it? sweat.gif

Those super agents I've seen rocking 200k dps and running amok with bosses in DZ05&06.
Need to put anything that up the crit damage, keep recalibrating and rolling gear and mods that gives you that edge. Keep farming challenging mission that drops level 31 gear. If you have tight team mates, Warrengate can be done less than 30 mins.
I can't stress enough use the bloody critical pulse and learn to rush the enemies instead ducking under cover far far away. A new trick just learned from my friend, explosive round with M44 is devastating. He one shot most of the enemy coming from skill damage buff. Granted, he has mad stats to begin with.
