yeah sidequest gives a huge boost, and if you don't tally exp until you go sleep at a fancy hotel, imagine the boost!

i now hope they fix the camera angling issue, damn annoying especially in dungeons

Balmung is easy, just kill the first batch of tonberries u encountered and u will get it, but to finish steyliff you need to  kill tons of tonberries, i gave up on my first try which took me almost 2 hrs of endless play...i thought the dungeon is endless but i guess i was wrong..

Theres a camp every certain level.

Sometimes when I go out for makan, i just put my ps4 rest mode.

FF7 mini game and no, can't save in dungeon, except at the camp >.<
dungeon games are meant to be played on non working weekends and on holidays. weeknights i think i die d.
ff13 theme park was boring. i hated that serendipity place.

As someone who'd done all the quest prior to continuing the story past the point of no return (in Chapter8), one advice. Balance them out.

Because sh*t gets really, really repetitive, and if you get bored in chapter 3 already you'll probably have the urge to skip them after you've completed the main story. Goddamn frogs and treasure maps urghh.

Yes, I was in Steyliffe, the one that draggeed onnn and onnn with square rooms and there's this Lightning bird as the final boss. Mehh, now I'm guessing that I've probably missed it. 

Also didn't bother using the autosave function during the havens because I'll usually get sick of the repetition midway between the campsites. Hahaha. Oh well, I guess I'll just live without the Balmung for the time being.

I've experienced something similar with the camera angle bug but only in the dungeons, this only happens with Prompto though. I will command Prompto to use an item and after he uses it, the camera will be stuck on Prompto and it's really difficult to even control Noctis because he's not visible. The bug only goes away when the next battle takes place.

Personally, things are not so repetitive if you don't grind level the skills or exp. If you do the post-game dungeons you'll get there naturally without any form of grinding. You know what's repetitive? Those bloody Menance dungeons. At least activities like hunts, fishing and frog catching involve some change in scenery.

I think  you have to claim it during the promotion time? not sure bout that, lets wait for 24th jan 

the outfit from the free DLC or paid DLC? i not sure how it work haha.

the carnival is like Gold Saucer in FF7 maybe except more type of mini games and mini quest?

ya i stay away from lengthy quests if i am playing on weeknights.
the whole 13 paradox thing was a bit bizarre but still ok la...

btw, anyone got any problems with getting recipes?
i ady bought those garlic/ wild onions and killed a Gigantoad and got it's steak as a drop, but the recipe for the toadsteak something doesn't pop up. Does it mean you can't unlock recipes if you BUY raw ingredients, instead of collecting it at food spots?

but weird thing is... Leiden pepper confirmed i harvest from world map, and the Gigantoad steak I remember getting it as a drop while fighting those toads in Chap 3. Don't remember buying them though...

but still no Toadsteak Drumstick... meh need to wait for rainy weather for it to appear....

no la, carnival pack is for both free and also DLC holders. just that if you bought the season pass, you will most probably get different/ special items
