Are Android tablets basically a larger screen version of android smartphones?

Am thinking of going for Windows tablet(full 8.1 like the new Iconia W4 instead of RT) instead of Android tablet since already using Android phone.
*
Now Google already implemented the new Apps section for Tablet only. So sooner will be more feature are exclusive in tablet and apps as well. Of course trying new stuff like Windows tablet is good too.

need recommendation,
is it worth to get an 8" tablet over 7" one for larger screen?
i mean is it too big compared to 7"does tablet
*
Not big or small, take the iPad mini as example, perfect size. There will be more 8" tablet from LG/Samsung in 2014 as reported. But you didnt list your usage, so is hard to choose.

Money is yours, so go test the two unit out see which one suit your like the most, then buy it. Well, unlike us which is more Geek type, need to double check all the spec on paper side by side and community support only decide to buy. lol tongue.gif

Hi guys, do recommend me a 10' tablet. Usage for light gaming, watch movie and browsing. Budget btwn RM500-RM800. If got seller here, please do list it also. TQ
*
Nexus 10. Light to Mid Gaming okay, because Nexus 10 is running last year processors, but High Graphic doesnt perform very well. Movie best because of front-facing speaker.

I think most of the place out of stock even Directd. Try search your nearest SenQ/SenHeng.

Want to buy nexus 7 2013 32gb wifi only for rm1k

Its been a while i dont follow news about technology.

Is there any tablet/ipad that came closer to nexus 7 in view of specs and prices?

I do a gross browse..

Samsung tab 7.0 and 8.0 2013 only duo core
*
Not so sure the Nexus 7 32GB WiFi(@RM999) only still available at Newegg MY or not, their FB mentioned their business in MY is down untill further notice. Is hard to beat Nexus 7 price and spec. Samsung tablet normally come with high price tag.

Hi guys, appreciate some recommendation.

Looking for a tablet:

1. Brand: Any, may prefer China brands due to their cheaper price.
2. Budget: Below RM 1000 if possible, the cheaper the better.  tongue.gif
3. Specs: Nothing specific. Preferably large screen size so easy to type.
4. What you need in the tablet: Going to use it mainly for work, emails and communication. Needs 3G, for internet connection on the go. Oh, good battery life is a plus as well.

So far for my search, I've found some China-made models, called PIPO M7 Pro, and a larger one called PIPO M9 Pro. Any comments guys? Any better ones around the same prize?

Thanks all.

Ask Tablet master whistling.gif ericmaxman
He know most of the China tablet here. Wait for his reply.

I have tried a few chinese tablets, with mixed feelings.

If you can DIY and dont care about warranty, then china tablets should be fine for you. If not, better stick to well known brands than Chinese brands with dubious warranty and even worse build quality..
*
Bro, ericmaxman, what do you think between

ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 (ME173X) VS. ASUS MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A)
Thought of getting another cheap Android devices just for the usage of writing/drawing as primary usage.

Or do you have other alternate option of even cheaper than above option? hmm.gif

Hi, would like to ask a few ques abt android tablets, specifically the Vido N70S.

I'm looking for a cheap but reliable tablet <rm300 just for my lil' son. Mainly for education apps/games and perhaps sometimes for the wife to surf the web or youtube.

Has anyone tried this particular model before? I almost bought a tablet, forgotten the brand/model, but I came through here and read on the 1st page something abt avoiding tablets with certain cpu chips and and go for rockchip instead.

Thinking abt buying this as I don't want to fork out a large sum just for the sake for my boy's entertainment ehehhe
*
Should consider local warranty brand if you want less headache. such like Asus/Lenovo.

Your budget is RM300 max? screen size wish for?

Hi all,

Any recommendation on tablet for my 5 year old son in car entertainment to keep him at the backseat?
i think bigger screen is better, performance so-so just ok which can play games & video.
at initaila stage budget below 500.
*
A second hand used of iPad 2/iPad mini (9.7"/7.9") (wide range of Kids Apps catalog in iOS)
if cant able to find it within your budget. Then stick back to Android OS, Asus Memopad HD 7 @ RM4XX only. I tested it out. quite good.

But asus memopad hd 7 is wifi only, it may not be suitable to use if u need to use outside your house with internet connection.

Well... I think for a kids at age around 5 doesn't need a data connection? laugh.gif Free wifi would be enough.
