Need opinion

1. Brand. I'm considering Asus because it seems to be cheaper but i'm open for other branded tablets.. i'm also interested in china tablet like Ainol which i heard is not bad.

2. Budget. (RM150-RM500)
3. Specs. Not so sure on this aspect, impress me but around 7 inch or 8 inch, not too big size

4. What you need in the tablet - Casual Browsing, must have Camera front and back, can put Sim card..

Note : I'm currentlt using Acer B1 and i'm not really happy with it cos it keep saying low memory whenever i open 4 or 5 tabs.. so preferably a tablet without such problem
*
Need Sim card and budget rm500?

Ainol seems to be your best bet at that criteria......

Either the ainol ax1 or eos

1. Brand. Mainstream brand
2. Budget. rm1000-1500
3. Specs. screensize 10 inch as i have a 5.5 inch phone olredi
4. What you need in the tablet Casual browsing/eBook reading/Gaming/Note taking

i am eyeing on the note 10.1 but are open to other options as well
*
Samsung nexus 10?

But if you need the pen input, then the note 10.1 is a good choice..... But be earned that the build quality of the note 10.1 is rather pathetic.....

u mean the older version or the 2014 version?
hw bout the tab 3?
*
The MemoPad HD7, ME173X, not the old ME172V.

Tab 3 only has a dual core CPU instead of a quad core inside the Asus....

how about asus memopad HD7 and Lenovo A3000 battery life..as far as i know, ainol captain offer 110000mah,that's quite big right?
*
Bigger capacity doesn't mean it'll last longer. Dont forget, the screen plays a big role. Also, the Actions ATM7029 SoC is best avoided.

For that budget, the Asus Memo Pad HD7 is a solid choice for casual usage. For my HD7, with occasional use, it can last one whole day.

1. Brand. Mainstream brand?
Prefer Non-mainstream brand
2. Budget.
Around RM300
3. Specs.
4. What you need in the tablet
Just sold my iPad 4, need a tablet for my children.
Screen need to be responsive and high resolution, able to play youtube, some videos, a bit of games

Personally I have filtered
a) Ainol Novo 7 Fire (RM359 half year warranty)
b) Ainol Novo 7 Venus (RM369 half year warranty)
c) Pipo u1 Pro (RM359 half year warranty)

i) Among these, which one should i buy?
ii) Did i miss out any other brand/model that i can compare

Appreciate your advices.
*
Out of those 3, I would recommend the ainol fire, followed by the pipo.

I would be bothered with the Venus, as the performance is just horrible.

Dear Experts

Further reading, made me think of buying 8 inches, filtered
a) vido mini s (7.8inches) - RM450
b) vido n80rk - RM450
c) Ainol Novo Dream - RM435

Did i miss out any others model, seem like N80RK is the better choice. right?
thanks

I just bought a Tab 3 8 inch LTE & wanted to confirm/ask what kind of powerbank is able to charge as a friend of mine informed/misinformed me that Samsung Tab cannot be charged by Powerbank. Is this true? Thanks in advance ! smile.gif
*
Double check and see what is the power output of your wall charger.

some powerbanks have dual (1.0A / 2.1A) ports.

1. Brand. No specific choice, prefer something mainstream so that have lots of custom mod, roms, kernels etc.
2. Budget. Max RM700 be it new or good condition 2nd hand.
3. Specs. With data(3G or LTE), can perform the below functions without hang or lag.
4. What you need in the tablet. Teamviewer, iDisplay etc, websurfing, video watching, no emphasis on gaming.
*
Hi bro tongue.gif

For that budget, top up ~RM200 or so, then get the 2013 Nexus7. But if you need data, then you should get the older 2012 model that has 32GB + 3G.

seems that quite many people buying tablet with WiFi only access.
Care to share how useful/sufficient is WiFi only compared to needing to spend extra for the 3G/LTE version? Or is there any regret getting the WiFi only version?
*
Since I used my tablet mainly at home, the lack of 3G isnt too bad.

besides, if I am outside with my tablet, I can still tether from my phone icon_idea.gif
