has anyone bought anything from this seller in lazada http://www.lazada.com.my/teclast-x98-air-3...18435.html?mp=1? i asked teclast malaysia on fb and they had no idea they were selling on lazada. does this seller actually have local manufacturer warranty for the products he's selling?

Could be local reseller, but he apply name Teclast Malaysia and sell on Lazada. Lazada is a platform where everyone can sell. Just like the Microsoft Authorized Store which actually Thundermatch Technology. No need worry, those are backed by Satisfaction Guarantee, mean you can return it within 14days if you found they lie on you are other reason.

thanks for clearing that up. the fact that sellers misleading buyers by using someone else's name is not ok in my book. i'll probably order directly from teclast offcial site, maybe that will spare me some hassle in case something goes wrong

was interested in teclast tabs. more towards the Teclast X98 Air 3G Dual OS. But seems like this product has been the same for sometimes. any idea how old it this version? im afraid if there is a new one out in a month time

if i'm not mistaken it's released in 2014. there are already multiple variants for quiet some time now like x98 plus and x98 pro (no sim card slot, more ram, win10) but nobody knows if teclast malaysia is gonna bring them in. so if u dont care about local warranty just go ahead and order them from ebay or something lol
