Which itself isn't a bad tablet per se.

But there are compromises la, if you choose to use a Nexus device.

Hi All

          Need some recommendation for tablets

          1. Brand : Any
          2. Budget :  Rm1000 or less
          3. Spec : WIFI  a must, size - as long as suit the purposes below
          4. Purposes : Browsing, gaming, ebooking, watch movie, youtube
*
Do you plan to carry it around? You want big screen? hmm.gif

If you want a big tablet, then the Asus Memo Pad Smart 10. If you want portability, then with that budget, you can get the new 2013 Nexus 7 16GB WiFi model. Or if you need a phone function, then the Asus Fonepad would be good (alternatives include the Samsung Tab3 7.0/8.0)

2. Budget. RM1000
3. Specs. (Ram-1gb/Proc-quad/Screen size-10"/sim card slot)
4. What you need in the tablet (Casual browsing/eBook reading/Note taking/battery last longer)

10" + Sim card slot quite unlikely to get for <RM1000..

After scouting around, I found a seller selling the 3G Tab2 10.1" for RM1099 here

Ainol hero2 at RM600 below.
Any tablet that is 10 inch is comparable with it or even better price /performance ratio?
*
I wont recommend the Hero2. The Actions ATM7029 is a subpar SoC. Lousy gaming performance, dated technology, despite being a quad core.

1. Brand. (Any)
2. Budget. RM500 or lower
3. Specs. 7.0 size or 8.0 may be acceptable. plz suggest both with and without 3g, good wifi strength
4. What you need in the tablet. web browsing, reading and typing documents, youtube/movie, gaming (at most also need for speed)

Also, mind explaining the Pros and Cons of China Brand tablet? Because i have Acer B1 tablet but my dad wants it because he doesn't trust China brand.

Thank you.
*
Below RM500 almost impossible to get 3G, unless you factor in Chinese ones... But since your dad doesn't want Chinese tablets, so yeah.

There's basically nothing wrong with Chinese tablets, other than the fact that the biggest headache will be warranty claims. You are forced to take the tablet back to where you bought it from. But quality wise, I wouldn't say it's any worse than what Acer/Asus/Lenovo offers.

Tested the Oaxis XpringSurf G8D. Horrible tablet. Lagging even at the launcher. For that RM699 price, better to get the Lenovo A3000 or even the Asus Fonepad. Oaxis dare not even list what processor it's running. Only says it's a dual core Cortex A9 @ 1.2Ghz. (Probably a Mediatek, but still, the Lenovo which uses a Mediatek dual core isnt that laggy)

Please avoid.

2. budget below RM500

3. latest firmware upgrade / latest android version

4. brand doesnt matter , screen resolution doesnt matter

5. battery at least can last longer among the cheapest model  thumbup.gif

6. post sales support (if possible la hehe ..so that if broken can be replaced with a new one  nod.gif )

This is the cheapest of dual camera tablet ever i come across.

Those WM8880 tablets are cheap for the reason. The display is horrible. Performance wise, it's so-so.
