Whoa great! But how to redeem Petron points for fuel? Can do it at the terminal or need to go to the cashier?

That's convenient! To confirm, 3000points is the minimum amount to redeem points for fuel, or can claim with lesser points (and lesser fuel, of course)

recently signed up Gold card cuz was spending at Parkson Mytown using PBB Quantum Visa.

one of the interesting perk would be this...

MEMBERS’ BIRTHDAY PRIVILEGES
Get a complimentary RM50 Parkson Discount Voucher during your birthday month. The RM50 Parkson Discount Voucher is then subsequently valid with a purchase of RM250 & above (excluding GST) in a single receipt within your birthday month.

Been using the Parkson card for more than 2 years now but I didn't notice that. That looks similar to the Parkson RM50 birthday voucher given by Bonuslink on your birthday month.

Watsons Partners Mastercard To Introduce Cashless Payment

http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v8/bu/newsb....php?id=1397105

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- Watsons Malaysia has partnered with MasterCard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd to offer cashless payment for its customers.

Watsons General Manager and Country Head, Caryn Loh said the objective of the partnership was to advocate and drive shoppers to go for a cashless experience with Watsons using Mastercard Contactless.

"Mastercard provides state-of-the-art technology that matches Watsons' DNA which focuses on delivering latest innovations to suit customers needs," she said on the sidelines of the launch of Watsons New Concept Store here today.

Loh launched the second Watsons New Concept Store together with MasterCard Country Manager for Malaysia and Brunei, Perry Ong.

Loh said Watsons' shoppers can enjoy an instant rebate of RM10 with a minimum spend of RM100 when using their Mastercard Contactless card at any of the 430 Watsons store nationwide, which is applicable to its first 20,000 customers.

I believe petronas mesra card system no longer accumulating points. I noticed all my kedai mesra transactions never appear in the online report. When asked they said need supporting document. How convenient to them to avoid this issue

For petrol via dispenser also 2 weeks no record even though the receipt stated approved

so far, no issue on points collection for me.

about non-update of points, i had 1 encounter whereby one particular station didnt grant the points for my petrol pump. didnt dispute for smallish amount. i never went back there again anyway since it wasnt my usual location. just an unplanned pump when driving long distance.
