i'd rather stay at another place with ocean view.. uluwatu's monkey's are really over agressive.  sweat.gif  then again there might not be monkeys in the hotel compound..

shakehead.gif have u ever been to ayana? how can u simply generalize uluwatu's monkeys as being aggressive just based on the monkeys at uluwatu temple. sigh. doh.gif

Just FYI, the aggressive monkeys are not everywhere in Uluwatu, it is mostly at the Uluwatu temple. And there were absolutely no monkeys at Ayana. I didnt see any when i stayed there and i dont think there are any monkeys there.

what? this u mean >> "then again there might not be monkeys in the hotel compound.."? just shows u dont really know about the hotel and u're not sure whether there are any monkeys at the hotel or not. correct me if i'm wrong.

yes i was not sure. hence 'might not be'. early morning don't need to be so snappy. unless you own shares in that hotel then i humbly apologise.

not snappy but just wish people here dont give opinion when they're not so sure. can be misleading. dont mean to be rude/snap at u but thats my 2 cents.

QUOTE(tehoice @ Feb 26 2014, 04:20 PM)
just came back from bali, it's super hot!!!

not gonna do a review on my itinerary, more or less everything we eat and places we go are quite similar I believe. but one place for meal in kuta I must strongly recommend is Bamboo Corner, this place is super cheap! it's even cheaper than our mamak stall here with so much of variety to choose from, if you need wifi connection while dining? go and buy something from the circle K opposite and get the password from them then you can use freely.

Also, my supir is super duper a nice man! charge reasonable rate or cheap rate. Not pushy type, he won't chase you, won't send you to any places that you don't want to go, won't bring you to buy stuff, won't show you face, won't give you any pressure.

He is literally a YES man, you want to go to the moon, he will bring you there, but of course he will suggest to you his tour experience and itinerary, where you should go first, what you need to see, which luwak coffee should you try (dirt cheap luwak coffee, oh gosh)

if you want to eat something and yet you don't know the address, or forget to make reservations, changes to your plan, no worries, he will make it happen by googling or map and bring you there.

I rate my supir 200%. I'm sorry that some forumers got some really poor drivers, but this supir is absolutely worth hiring, 200% PM me for info.

Edit: he speaks good english too, no language barrier.

Bro, can pm me the detail of your supir?? Thanks..

Is it counted like for eg 350k per day or hours?

per day.
please take note that this is only for the driver chargers (inc. petrol and their meal).
any "tol" and entrance fee, you pay urself.

Thanks for the info. smile.gif
I have 1 more question. let's say I stayed kuta the 1st day, Ubud the 2nd day and Uluwatu the 3rd day.
Normally the hiring driver is able to fetch us anywhere within these location?

depends on your driver.
why la u love to change change. hahaha
just stay in KUTA. and then the driver will drive u around.
estimate is just about 30-60mins trip only lor. (kuta > ubud. kuta > uluwatu)
trust me, better stay in KUTA and then take the trips around.

if youre a night goer. staying in KUTA Is the best.
usually the driver will pick you up at 8-9am. then back by 5-6pm. 8pm tops.
unless you go for the dinner at Jimbaran, thats the only time you get back home late.

but if you decided to stay in LOVINA or nearby there,
then yeah, better stay there a night. coz its gona take you about 3-4 hours driving.

Btw, I will be there for a 5 days 4 nights trip. My planned location to visit are below:
- Kuta
- Uluwatu
- Tanah Lot
- Ubud
- Kintamani

Any place else that I have missed for the "MUST GO" places??
