If you staying at ubud, avoid this hotel taman harum hotel. the living room dont have fan, the toilet windowless, which means u get a hole like a window in your toilet, just that it is not covered. Just a cloth cover the hole. A lot of insects inside the room as well.

I will be going to Bali end of this month with my wife and kids. I need some advice on tipping the tour driver. What would be considered as an acceptable amount to tip the driver? Is 50K per day considered ok? What is the norm to tip, i.e. is it to tip at the end of each day? |

I'll be going coming May, my driver costs me 1.75m IDR for 4 days based on my itinerary, its a bit pricey as only 2 days i have full tour, the other 2 just half day and airport pickup/drop off.
I actually took a very highly rated driver from Tripadvisor and did not want to leave anything to chance since its a special trip. Am still looking for a great couple's spa though, any recommendations? |

Please advice:
I am going to Bali for 5 days 4 nights on February. I planning to stay at Ubud villa for 4 night. What do u all think? will it be inconvenience to go other place to visit? Here my planning : Day 1: i will be reaching at Bali airport around 7pm, so i will just hang out around the places nearby the Hotel Day 2: Full day trip at Ubud area Day 3: Visit the attraction at Nusa Dua Day 4: Go around Kuta area Day 5: afternoon, leaving and back to Malaysia Here some of my question: 1. If i am planning to go attraction at Ubud, Nusa Dua and Kuta area from Hotel, do u think i should hire a car with driver so that it will be more convenience to travel? Or i can just easily hire taxi from anywhere? |
