if i arrive at bali airport at 10.30pm, is the airport taxi service still available? im afraid the taxi stand already close and i will be forced to take outside taxi which will cost almost double.

Erh from what I know it's better to take a metered taxi outside. No worries, there are plenty of taxi driver waiting for you in front of the arrival gate to greet you just like Lionel messi arrived in bali. From my experience, I was offered right of the gate for 300k to kuta square as I walk further away it reduces from 150k to 80k. Finally I just settle for it. As it's too far to walk out to the main road to get a metered taxi. This post has been edited by mugenz: Nov 12 2013, 06:41 PM |

I doubt if they have then they won't have all these freelance or driver cum taxi drivers harassing guest at the airport. I can't confirm but I doubt those driver can make money there if they have standardized or reasonable taxi provided by airport. |

I don't know whether this's been asked before:
What kind of currency do they use in Bali? For hotels, transport, food, shopping. USD or Rupiah? I don't want to change USD, too expensive la |

QUOTE(CustomKids @ Nov 15 2013, 02:37 PM) stimix Beaches from Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu and even till Tanah lot are facing strong wave.. more like surfer paradise & not for swimmer. If you prefer strong wave & good in surfing.. probably good idea eventhough Canggu is abit far North of Seminyak. Otherwise for Clear water, slightly calmer water, go for those resorts in Nusa Duan, Tg Benoa or even the high Cliff area beside Nusa Dua till Uluwatu. Is canggu nice place to stay? was planning to stay at the villa near the beach.. hope bali sifu give some ideas =) Thanks |

QUOTE(CustomKids @ Nov 15 2013, 03:00 PM) Restaurants, places to hang-out u better stick to Kuta, Legian & Seminyak. Canggu is abit far out. I can't really recall Canggu. but should be less such facilities. Nusa Dua is quiet area with lotsa 4-5stars resorts & also lack of those eateries & entertainment that you looking for. |

If you have time to spare i think tanah lot is a good place to go but however it will be advisable to go during sunset as well. If you dont mind paying and travel in the car for hours then can consider going lake bratan. |

QUOTE(mugenz @ Nov 19 2013, 11:37 PM) what if they still do or they do not? Simply because you can ask for the cheaper menu. I guess I should rephrase, have the prices changed so that we know which is the cheaper menu and which is not?all depends on your luck which "priced" menu that they gonna give u, unless you damn confident that you look like local. |
