Can share a rough estimate what is the average cost per day or per car? In comparison to Klook which we book and pay online, these local driver we need to pay by cash upfront or towards the end of trip?

Rough estimation around 400k IDR if not mistaken. But if you take longer maybe you can try to negotiate. Based on my experience with them, I only pay them end of the trip.

just back from Bali.. took almost 1.5hrs to clear all three sections in the airport upon arrival.

Not that bad. A friend of mine last time took almost 3 hours to clear.

Tell us, how's Bali? Wheater etc..

very hot weather.. book a day tour to visit the volcano.. three hrs journey and stop by silver factory, see water fall and kopo lawak.. very cool and strong cool wind..

overall i still prefer thallnad island.. very convineince to look for massage n shopping near by hotel.. maybe is due to i stay in Nusa Dua.. not Kuta or seminyak etc

Nusa Dua is quite outskirt that is why you have problems finding shops etc. Kuta and Seminyak is best. Few minutes walk and shops right and left.

you are right as i stay at Club mate... very tide security.. maybe my next trip wil stay at Kuta or other area....

Yes, Nusa Dua area not developed yet, not many shops around. Can always go to Kuta area as it's not far

Suggest you to stick with local driver as the road can be narrow. Sometimes have to reverse and let the other pass first.

I'm still in Bali (my 3rd day here n 3 more days to go). stay at Kuta Beach Heritage

1) Found that most private driver in Bali charge approx 400K/day (10 hours). can PM me if u need contact

2) There are many seafood package at Jimbaran n honestly didn't know which is the best, I went to Aroma Restaurant n took their seafood set C (Rp250K) and it's below par. taste not nice, served cold (BBQ) and crab is mushy.

3) If traveling alone, some nearer place around Kuta can go by motorbike taxi (private for Rp10K-20K)

4) The International buffet at Starz Diner Restaurant (Hard Rock Cafe Hotel) is not worth the price. Very limited selection of food.

5) There are plenty of tour booth around Kuta to book tour for the next day. Almost all offering the same package n price. (private driver offers similar tour at the same price or slightly higher but have flexibility on where ,when n how long u want to stop + flexible dining time)

A couple questions guys, on AirAsia travel requirements I saw two things of concern:



What is this custom declaration form about? Is it the same as the form you get on airplane usually that you submit to the immigration where you usually fill in details of your hotel/purpose of travel?

Must you do this online or you can get this form on the airplane?

I have bought SIM package on Klook. Do I have to do the IMEI registration myself or will the operator help me to settle everything?

1) there are physical custom forms u can fill up while waiting for luggage at luggage belt (very slow in Bali, prepare to wait up to 45 mins) or u can scan QR code and declare digitally and just show to the custom officer upon exit

2) not sure about klook but I bought my sim thru Shoppee and it's just put in phone and turn on when u arrive in Bali. just wait for approx 1 min for the phone to auto configure n register on network. 7 days without problem in Kuta. No reception at certain area at Nusa Penida and no reception at Uluwatu

Is travel insurance required?

Afaik only pelindung app and covid vaccination documents right?

They didnt check insurance, upon arrival there is queue for checking app and vaccination, then proceed for immigration queue and lastly after collecting baggage, queue for customs n exit

when i checked in at KLIA2, AA staff ensure all passenger have Pelindung app and registered the passeseer detail inside the app..

upon arrival at Bali airport..first check out in to shown vaccine details.. either mys app or generate the cert for the staff to input into the system

thereafter no need to use pelundung app de..


no request for covid insurance at all...
