Thanks for the info! Normally how long volcano eruption will affect flight schedule? Within a week can normalize?

I will be going there mid of July. Hopefully everything will be OK by then. Fingers crossed.

Not very sure on that.. depending of the volcanic ashes in the air.. I hope it will sleep for long time.. I'll be going mid of Sept..

They use Rupiah.

nope. airport tax is already implemented together with your flight ticket. No additional tax required.

change enough rupiah locally to bring over, avoid the money changer there
if you have cimb or maybank, use the atm card withdrawal there as secondary backup
and bring MYR as last backup, they accept MYR, but lots of conmen changer

I just got back from Bali about a week ago and I have been lucky to engaged Pak Arief (+62 817-537-826) to be my driver for 4 days. He is a friendly guy and willing to follow our itinerary without any qualms and will suggest nice places for us to have our meals and the places to shop for souvenirs. He attended to every of our needs throughout our journey without issues. All in all, if I were to go Bali again I will get him to drive me around..

Thanks to the suggestion by fellow forummer meghamtaro, we engaged Pak Yanto to provide supir service during our 7 days in Bali last week.

The driver assigned, Mr. Rahul, is a friendly guy. He gave us suggestions where to shop (and where not to) for a more value-for-money experience. Thanks to him also we managed to get cheaper seafood in Jimbaran.

Pak Yanto's rate is 380,000 IDR per day for Kuta area, and 450,000 IDR per day for more outskirt area (eg. Ubud) for 12 hours (0830H - 2030H), slightly overtime also never mind.

Thanks meghamtaro for the recommendation again.
