Hi guys.. wondering if any of you have experienced a wheelset conversion to support 8 cassettes campy(veloce pre-2000)? I found it pretty hard to find a campy free hub which supports 8 cassette. Usually it always 9-10-11 cassette.
On the other hand, i'm not interested in upgrading my groupset as im pretty happy with my Veloce but just that trying to fit a new wheelset to it.
Example wheelset is from here http://bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=188103 and its currently fit into a Shimano cassette
Thanks

campy 8-speed freehub?? that will be a tough one... pre-2000 should be exa-drive i think... i search ebay also dun have the freehub...
i think you might have better luck with an upgrade if your frame can fit the 130mm hubs...
is your wheel busted??? else, if it is just only the rims and spoke and you still own a pair of i presume classic 32/36 spokes... just rebuild the wheel replacing everything and retain the hub...
a good resource...

i also dug somewhere that there is a possible chance that the older 8-speed hubs have a slightly smaller axle which makes 11-speed campy wheels unable to fit 8-speed freehubs...
even Fulcrum only made conversion freehubs for campy 9-11 speeds...
looks like bad news for you... you need to go find some campy shops and see if they keep stock of stuff...
