QUOTE(dares @ Jun 10 2013, 06:19 PM) Marshal dies at Canadian GP after accident involving recovery truck A 38-year-old marshal was killed at the end of the Canadian Grand Prix after being hit by a recovery truck. The accident happened while Esteban Gutierrez's stricken Sauber was being removed from the Montreal circuit. The International Automobile Federation said the man, who has yet to be named, had stumbled after dropping his radio. "My dearest condolences to the family of the marshal who lost his life today, our prayers for him and his family. RIP," said Gutierrez on Twitter. The FIA said the marshal stumbled while attempting to pick up his radio as workers used a mobile crane to lift Gutierrez's car and return it to the pits. He was run over by the recovery vehicle, whose driver could not see him, added the FIA. Medics stabilised the victim at the track before he was airlifted to hospital where he later died. Dr Jacques Bouchard, the Grand Prix's chief medical officer, said the marshal "suffered major trauma with multiple fractures and a serious abdominal contusion". The FIA have yet to release any details about an investigation. "I am very, very sad to hear this news and my thoughts are with his family and friends," said Sebastian Vettel, who won the race for Red Bull. "The work of marshals is not always seen but it is vital to our sport and without their commitment, time and dedication there would be no motorsport," added the three-time world champion. Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso, who finished second, said the man's death was "terrible news". "Today there is nothing to celebrate," added the Spaniard on Twitter. This was the first marshal fatality since 2001 when Graham Beveridge was fatally injured by a loose wheel from Jacques Villeneuve's BAR-Honda at the Australian Grand Prix. At the previous year's Italian Grand Prix, volunteer firefighter Paolo Ghislimberti died from head and chest injuries after being hit by a loose wheel from Heinz-Harald Frentzen's Jordan. |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jun 10 2013, 02:16 PM) That's very nice information. How to register/enter track open day? You can get more information hereMy car is slow, with stock brake pads and rear drum brake that fade easily with some abuse, what I worry most is the collision with other cars. I heard that collision is so usual on open track days. http://www.timetoattack.net/2012/03/26/201...es-regulations/ |

QUOTE(drfeelgood @ Jun 10 2013, 07:46 AM) come on.... 3max Rear seat brace ties inside the cabin to 2 sides of the soft seat frame..... how much difference is this going to make? the cabin is not supposed to flex, it is supposed to stay rigid, so putting a 3max bar on the soft seat frame will do NOTHING. just look how thin is the material this piece of metal rod is screwed on. look at the angle? DOES IT MATTER IF YOU HAVE A TRIANGLE PIECE OF METAL TYING UP 2 SIDES OF A SOFT SEAT FRAME? just because the bars got scratches like what davidke20 says doesnt prove anything except it made of poor finishing and some luggage stuffed into the boot easily scratched the product,,,,,...wah so good quality?! anyway I WAS NOT ATTACKING ANYONE. I DIDNT AT ANY POINT MENTION MAHIHI OR WHATEVER HE WISHES TO GO BY. IT IS THOSE SENSITIVE, INSECURE PEOPLE LIKE FUNKER, DAVIDKE20 AND THE REST WHO FELT SO BUTT HURT THAT I MENTIONED SOMETHING BAD ABOUT THEIR 3MAX IMITATION BARS THAT THEY IMMEDIATELY CLAIM I WAS STILL SORE WITH THE SNOB, WHICH SADLY I WASNT, I JUST SO HAPPEN TO POINT OUT THAT THE 3MAX BARS HAS UNNESSECARY EXCESS SQUID ARMS WHICH WILL NOT ADD ANY VALUE OR BENEFIT TO IT.....WANT ME TO CRITISIZE, THIS IS ME CRITISIZING... QUOTE(drfeelgood @ Jun 10 2013, 07:57 AM) alo we just ask you to open a thread to do a real technical debate on 3Max vs UR we didnot ask you to leave this threat ... you are way too sensitive and misunderstanding /din read carefully our postQUOTE(drfeelgood @ Jun 10 2013, 08:28 AM) bro, what has been done, has been done. no need to add sarcasm to your snobbishness. I wonder why you must take thing so negative ~ did you heard he apologize in insincere and sarcastic way? no ! u just reading and u put in ur own expression on the wording then u feel all people purposely personally nail-ing u ~thank you for your insincere and sarcastic apology. so sorry also, that after I hentam your 3max minions to defend my opinions, that I reached your sarcastic apology..... anyway you should pat yourself on your back, you have many minions to do your bidding and to attack others who dare say 1 bad thing about 3max....
