Hi guys, just wondering if any of you know if Sony is able to change the Shatter Proof protector on the front and back? Do they have such an option available?

guys,

i have a question

1. now im currently rooted and im considering to unlock my bootloader

2. once i've unlocked.. and IF i were to flash a custom STOCK rom. will i lose the bravia engine feature for the camera?

i know flashing AOSP or AOKP/CM/PA roms, it will be something totally different but what if i were to stick to custom STOCK rom?

thanks nod.gif

Anyone here using monx ROM 02-02? Wonder how stable is it compare to stock. Planning to flash it tonight. I read through the XDA thread and found some ppl complain about UI glitches & poor battery life

1. Yes, you can choose to unlock your bootloader even you're not Rooted.

2. You will loose BE2 & TrackID function. Backup TA partition before unlocking.

Correction:
  • BE2 is loose for viewing photo/image using Album app but remain working for video using any video app.
  • TrackID is still working fine for unlocked bootloader, even download music info from WALKMAN app still functioning well.

That is stock ROM with some modification on Status Bar, sure can install at locked bootloader.

Actually Locked Bootloader not working for AOKP, AOSP or CM is because of modified/change of kernel not the ROM itself..

Locked Bootloader not support modified kernel, that the reason why leak 4.2.2 stock ROM is not working as well due to doomlord had modified the kernel to make it work for everyone, or else I believe it will only work for developer set only.

I have contacted Sony phone support to escalate my phone's warranty process. Got to wait for some days before they can decide to give a replacement unit.

Already a total of 3 weeks in service including screen change.
