Just to check with all S18 buyers.
Last time when we booked S18, SA told that the 2 parking is side by side or tandem (front and back)?

Just came back from Sales Gallery.  SA told me that the car park is confirmed tandem. Very disappointed....and felt cheated as developer promised 2 years ago that all big size units and high floor units will be given side by side parking. When sigining the SPA at F3Capital office, the staffs also said the tandem wording in SPA is indicative only. I will write in to developer to complain about this issue. Very upset.... sad.gif

Hi all,

I know I'm a bit too late for this. Hence the name Noob. Haha.

Quite interested in this project. Went to the sales gallery. The price for 850sqft unit is already at RM567k (before disc).

If I do buy, I plan to stay for about a year (because my wife works in Selayang) before I rent it out/sell.

Advisable to proceed? Appreciate any inputs.

Welcome Noob !

It is never late to get something good , right ?
Perhaps you just need to pay little bit extra since property price was increased since Selayang 18 Launched on 2013.

Hmmm.....personally i think it is a good place to stay, with less busy, green and peace area ....

anyway, if talk abt rental...i think it maybe a challenge if want to rent it with the high price

Since your wife work in Selayang, why only stay for a year ?

Because she's an HO at the Selayang Hospital. Will definitely have to move out after she completes her rotation. cry.gif

S18 very near to Selayang Hospital.
You can consider small unit if your plan is to move out after 1 or 2 years.
Less commitment and maybe easier to rent out to couples or small family with one kid.

Hi all,

To bumi buyers, can I confirm if the the bumi unit is really bumi lot, or they are just giving bumi discounts? I think the salesgirl was a lil bit confused when she explained it to me.

Appreciate if anyone can enlighten me! Thanks!

I'm considering a unit, but as an investment rather than to stay. But bumi lot really turns me off since it's going to be difficult for me to sell it back later on.

Any advice?

1) are u a bumi or non bumi?
2) if bumi - it doesnt matter wat unit u buy will still consider bumi lot
3) if non-bumi - u can only buy non-bumi lot..if its a bumi release lot, its still consider non-bumi lot

freehold bumi lot - still acceptable
leasehold bumi lot - stay away

Ofkos la bumi mah. Or else I won't ask that question. Haha.

That's the thing. Some developers, they give bumi discounts but the unit does not necessarily become a bumi lot. But in case of S18, it's confirmed bumi lot. cry.gif
