never thought, that for a $10,000 investment growing at 8% per annum, the investment would actually be worth $68,485 at the end of 25 years. That seemingly small 1.94% in annual expenses has actually eaten up more than half of the investment’s returns. Does that seem small now?

Well done.
Investors, with a time horizon of 10 years plus, are often put-off by daily and weekly economic and market news: oil up, gold down, Federal Reserve Bank to end bond buying. Its all just chatter and background noise for the longterm investor.
Get your portfolio in order - go play with the kids. Life is too short to be watching the DJIA everyday.

Deep red more fun, more shopping.... drool.gif

Now I am more or less pause my UT funds. Future addition to funds will be in the form of ETF.
1. How can you beat 0.06% expense ratio
2. Flat rate sales charge $9.99 per purchase/sale (no limit)?
3. Very liquid, sell now and get the money in T+3

My Stocks will be moving to consistent earning .... I am considering to expand to SG/HK stocks

Gark, Pink.. I don't get the fuzz over GAB on the other thread. But no one answer my doubt. What am I missing? I did a BAT vs, GAB dividend yield calculation.

GAB yield I think less than 3% now...BAT still 4%+

It's the tax hike risk...I think

You cannot take straight yield to consideration only, you have to take note of growth in dividend. Traditionally GAB have more growth than BAT.
