Price drop when 128GB come only. Last time bought 1GB SD card for RM499. Somewhere around 2004 if not mistaken. Slot into O2 XDA II . Which is RM3699 IIRC doh.gif
My most expensive device would be O2 and Dopod. Luckily smartphone now are more affordable.
*
Yeah, those were the days. I held off buying those due to the price, and even the nokia 8210 was about 1800 at the time. My most costly phone was the N93 at 2699 sweat.gif

Potential Note 3 contender:

Rumor: Sony Togari to be called Xperia ZU – Snapdragon 800 on board?
http://www.androidauthority.com/xperia-zu-...i-specs-223160/

==================
But IF it is waterproof, then this will mean Sony's design should exclude the stylus, and therefore no active digitizer, therefore NOT a contender. We'll see how it develops.

crapple says you don't need quad core, and for their platform, they are right coz they don't need it. I'm not defending them, that is their design. I dislike them for different reasons.

Department of paranoia:

The last 48 hours has seen an explosion of accusations and fearmongering about what the US govt is doing with all the data they collect. Even Viber is now blocked in Saudi Arabia.

So for the paranoid ..........

I can't wait for 4.2.2 for our Note 2.

Flashed Wanam v7.0 (4.2.2) on my S3 which is left collecting dust.

What i've noticed:
Reduced input lag
Better RAM management despite without zRAM

and what I noticed was zRAM/SWAP is only useful on devices with low amount of RAM like my S3. It only slows down devices with more than enough RAM like our Note 2.
*
zRAM/SWAP is a kind of paging algorithm then to swap out unused RAM to disk? This is what I know from computer OS architecture.

So for 2Gb devices, paging swaps are not necessary then...

UPDATE: after googling zRAM:
zRam is a module of the Linux kernel, previously called "compcache". zRam increases performance by avoiding paging on disk and instead uses a compressed block device in RAM in which paging takes place until it is necessary to use the swap space on the hard disk drive. Since using RAM is faster than using disks, zRam allows Linux to make more use of RAM when swapping/paging is required, especially on older computers with less RAM installed

restart the phone?

There have been very rare cases of bluetooth module failure on the phone. Try pairing with other stuff on both the notebook and phone.

Missing his Note 2 after switching to HTC One

https://plus.google.com/u/0/115879197034820...sts/BiG9gmu6QYh

Well..I love new technologies..new phones ..gadgets etc..
I had the Note 2 since it came out..loved it..The the new HTC One and S4 started to make news...I got intrigued..and decided to trade the Note 2..for the HTC One developer edition..The phone is great don't get me wrong I just miss the bigger screen...spen etc.

Stephen Gunnoe
I almost went to the One but after a friend got it and I had a chance to really dive into it, I thought better of it. Too much to sacrifice in my opinion. S Pen, screen size, battery size, replaceable battery, expandable memory just to name a few.

I've not seen or heard of anything out there that comes close to the Note II in functionality

The S Pen is like a magical golf shot. Once you hit one great shot you're hooked. No pun intended

Scott Beatty
The S3 got me hooked on swappable batteries and the Note 2 sealed the deal with the S Pen and screen size. The utility is just so great. I keep wanting to love the new, hot phones that are rolling out, but the more I consider it, the more I think the Note 3 will be the phone to replace my Note 2.
