I have been using ZA7 for almost a week. So far, i don't have any bad experience with it. In fact, i'm quite satisfied. The firewall's auto-learn feature is what i like most as selecting Auto-learn instead of Maximum will result in fewer "Allow" or "Block" questions. However, the auto-learn feature will eventually be changed to Maximum after a period of time(about 1 week for me). This is because ZA has done analysing what programs you are frequently using.

i think nothing problem with pc tools firewall, it's maybe just my connection a little bit lame since the connection is also not fully recover...see the news..

Hello guys. I'm thinking of installing Outpost Firewall. Which antivirus do you think is suitable? As for as I know, Avast! has conflicts with Outpost. So what do you guys recommend? Thanks.

I'd uninstalled Outpost since it's 30 day trial ended.
Using PC Tools Firewall atm. NO problems so far. Quite, I mean very user friendly compared to Outpost.

No extra setup required...

i trying kaspersky with it now, no conflict so far.

when install Zone Alarm, it will told me juz install it on
Admistrator account
but im using Admistrator account!!
and sometimes even ask me to shut down TrueVector service in Windows Task Manager...
but i cant find that TrueVector...

how to install Zone Alarm Free??
btw, the installer i got is v7

i think u redownload again and try to install again
zonealarm always has the TrueVector problem

try using other setup files.maybe that one you have has corrupted.

Go to the following path and delete the folder(s) if they still exist:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\TrueVector
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ZoneAlarm

Try reinstalling now.

aledi re-download and install

what the 'other setup files' mean??
cant find these file in the C:\Windows\system32
even aledi enabled 'show hidden files' and disabled 'hide system files'
but i found a folder name 'ZoneLabs' in there
can delete that??

It seems like ZA still got conflict with BT clients (tat TrueVector thing always crashes when u r running BT clients)

I would just suggest u use other firewall instead of ZA

it really have conflict with BT client??
then what firewall that didnt have conflict with bt??

so far I only found tat ZA having problem, others that I hav tried like Comodo, Look'n'Stop, and Outpost (currently using) all don't hav problem at all with BT

when i leave my com idle with Bt running
the bloody truevector error sure come out
if the bt programme is not running , the truevector error doesnt come out

Guys, is it possible to install Outpost firewall and Kaspersky antivirus without formatting my PC? I plan to uninstall Avast and Sygate. Will it make my PC slow and cause conflicts?

Outpost slowing down my comp, wherever my Utorrent start it occupied my 80% of resources...
Change back to Zone Alarm Pro 7, I hope its more stable than its previous ver6.53...
