no doubt medicom make the best looking anime figurine, the only thing keeping me away is their price n most importantly their lousy quality.
from my bad experience of RAH Darth Vader, MGS Raiden, Masked rider, DB son goku….etc most joint/peg easily break and brittle, pleather material really bad, rubber suit will either melt, become sticky, crack or tear in time.
I would love to collect medico RAH EVA-01, but the above quality issue really kept me away instead.

You'll just have to be super careful when posing to avoid joint break...
material wise, if theres rubber, synthetic leather type.. it'll just be a matter of time for it to decay itself..

I like the Rah mikasa akerman though.. the jacket stitching is not that good and probably will decay/flake, and accessories seem fragile..

If you like anime figure and size is not a big issue.. you should take a look at Max Factory Figma figures..

izzit just me or the quality of tis 3zero robo look like Play Art Kai figurine?…...

I've a few of the newer medicoms. Nowhere near as detailed as hottoys, think of them as oversized figmas but since i'm more into anime than hollywood, I'm happy enough with them.

Play arts style is using shading here and there.. they usually hv anime features/feel to their figures even though the models is based on western figures..
and they r not 1/6 or larger sizes figures..

3zero likes to use effects like weathering,worn,scuff mark,stains n such on their figures...

Out in HK:

HB looks like having scuffmarks/wear effect like iron patriot...

while 42,WM 2.0 n Centurion doesnt have any...?

you can easily get it at 60% price after 6 months because figures like these aren't gonna sell out like hot cakes.

the leather like materials may give you a 3-4 years shelf life. but not difficult finding fabric replacements, pegs can easily be fixed using blutac. Most joints can be fixed up using superglue or screws. nothing you can't fix unless it's in a sealed up rubber suit.

If u have been purchased a lot from them. Write them an email. There is a chance they allow u to cancel ur po. I did it once.

just tell them you learn about pleather materials and are concerned about the longetivity of the material, i'm sure they know how well medicom's pleather last.

still many folks paying big bucks on the Titan figures, those jackets are nice but ultimately Medicom & Sideshow pleather still not up to par in terms of longevity, Takara ones are slightly better by 1-2 years, and regarding HTs pleather, well just pray...
